Burleson smacked a two-out single off of Jacob Misiorowski in the third inning, but never advanced past first base. He then led off the fifth with another knock off of Rob Zastryzny and scored on a throwing error by Brewers’ second baseman Brice Turang. He was also hit by a pitch in the sixth inning and doubled with two outs in the eighth. With his three-hit attack, the 26-year-old is now slashing .289/.342/.466 with 18 homers, 66 RBI and five stolen bases on the season.

Freeland gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out two. He actually left the game with a 3-1 lead after five innings, but the Brewers scored seven runs off the Rockies’ bullpen in the sixth inning. Freeland has a 7.81 and shouldn’t be rostered in most fantasy leagues. He’s lined up to face the Athletics on the road next weekend.

Drohan gave up five hits, walked one and struck out four. He improved to 3-1 with the win. Drohan was removed after 83 pitches as he was making just his third start of the year after pitching in the bullpen. He has a 3.11 ERA. It’s unclear if Drohan will remain in the rotation, but he’s lined up to face the Phillies at home next weekend.

Nola also allowed four walks in the no-decision, raising his ERA to 5.86 on the year. The 33-year-old rediscovered some velocity this season, but it hasn’t helped much, and his ERA is hovering around 6 dating back to last year. The two highest HR/9 rates of his career have come over the past two seasons. As usual, Nola’s ERA estimators paint a more optimistic picture going forward. He draws a tough matchup on the road in Milwaukee for his next start.

Sandlin gave up two homers in the outing while striking out six. Since being recalled by the White Sox, he has one great start, one terrible one, and now this not-so-good bulk relief appearance. He’ll remain off the fantasy radar for his next start, which currently lines up against the Dodgers.

The stolen base was his first of the season. The veteran corner infielder spent mid-April through mid-May batting in the bottom third of the Phillies’ lineup, but he’s been a fixture at cleanup or fifth since then. Bohm is hitting just .224/.282/.359 as he prepares to enter free agency this offseason.

Turner is off to a slow start, reminiscent of the struggles he encountered after first signing with the Phillies in 2023. Notably, his K% is back over 20%, and he’s sporting his lowest SLG since a 44-plate-appearance sample in 2015. Turner’s 11-year pact runs through 2033, so the hope is that he picks it up in a hurry here in June.

Antonacci entered Sunday tied for 16th in stolen bases since being called up from Triple-A. He was also tied for 25th in runs scored and 29th in OBP during that span. His contact skills and propensity to reach base via HBP have fueled his high run total when batting atop Chicago’s lineup against righties. The one aspect of his track record that has yet to translate is his walk rate, which routinely sat in the double digits in the minors. There’s still plenty of time for that to improve as he settles in at the big-league level.

Jung’s home run was his eighth of the season. He hit a solo shot off Joey Cantillo in the third inning. Jung continues to hit as his average is up to .313 with an .855 OPS. He’s been one of the big surprise performers this season and should be in the mix for All-Star consideration.

Langford’s home run was his second. He hit a solo shot off Joey Cantillo in the fourth inning. Langford returned from the injured list on Friday after spending six weeks on the injured list with a forearm strain. He’ll occupy the leadoff spot for the Rangers for the foreseeable future.

Cantillo gave up nine hits, walked two and struck out seven. He fell to 4-3 with the loss. Cantillo entered the game with a 3.92 ERA and a 4.64 xFIP. After allowing seven earned runs, his ERA is 4.57. It’s a tough break for fantasy managers that 11 of the 34 runs Cantillo has allowed this year came in his last two starts, but given his xFIP this is just water finding its level. He’s off the fantasy radar for his next start against the Tigers at home next weekend.
