Shea Langeliers went 3-for-4 with two homers and two RBI in Friday’s loss to the Blue Jays.

Langeliers ended a scoreless tie in the fourth when he connected on a Kevin Gausman splitter that sailed 388 feet into the left field stands. It was the first homer of the season for Langeliers, who came up clutch again in the ninth inning when he took Jays closer Jeff Hoffman deep to tie the game at 2-2. Langeliers hit second for the A’s on Friday and is coming off a season in which he belted a career-high 31 homers.

Crawford is progressing towards a quick return to Seattle’s lineup after opening the season on the shelf with shoulder inflammation. He’ll likely require a handful of rehab contests to get back up to speed but should be ready to make his season debut later this week.

Zach Cole has been diagnosed with a broken toe on his right foot after being hit by a pitch over the weekend at Triple-A Sugar Land.

Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters it’s going to take a little while for Cole to get back after he suffered a fractured toe over the weekend while playing for Triple-A Sugar Land. His absence is a hit to Houston’s outfield depth when injuries inevitable strike at the highest level.

Ramón Laureano is on the bench for Tuesday’s game against the Giants.

Laureano takes a seat after making four consecutive starts in left field to open the season. The 31-year-old is off to a really strong start at the dish, hitting .357 (5-for-14) with one homer and one steal in four contests. It’ll be Nick Castellanos heading out to cover left field and face Giants ace Logan Webb.

It’ll be Victor Robles in right field with lefty-masher Rob Refsnyder at DH.
