This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
We’ll take a look at Monday’s nine-game main slate starting at 7:00 ET.
POINT GUARD
Kyle Lowry - Miami (at Cleveland) - DK: $8,000 / FD: $6,900 / Yahoo: $29
Jimmy Butler is still out for Miami, which leaves plenty of usage for Lowry to work with. Butler has missed six games recently, and Lowry topped 39 fantasy points in four of those. His salary has jumped on DraftKings, but I still believe he’s underpriced on FanDuel and Yahoo. Lowry should top 40 fantasy points while taking on a Cleveland team that ranks 20th in defensive efficiency to point guards.
Also Consider: Trae Young, Fred VanVleet

SHOOTING GUARD
Jalen Brunson - Dallas (vs. Charlotte) - DK: $5,800 / FD: $6,300 / Yahoo: $19
Brunson is probably one of the best value picks of this slate. Luka Doncic has been ruled out with an ankle injury, meaning Brunson will run the show for Dallas. In the last two games with Doncic sidelined, Brunson is averaging 34 minutes and 32 fantasy points for the Mavs. That’s a realistic baseline with upside against a Charlotte team that ranks second in pace.
Also Consider: Marcus Smart, Kevin Huerter
SMALL FORWARD
Andrew Wiggins - Golden State (at Indiana) - DK: $6,200 / FD: $5,800 / Yahoo: $22
Wiggins is a cool mid-range pick on this slate. The former Rookie of the Year winner has been up-and-down over the last couple of weeks, but his price has fallen as a result. That presents a nice buy-low opportunity considering that he’ll continue to see a full 36-minute workload. We should see Wiggins’ good side against an Indiana team that ranks bottom ten in defensive efficiency to small forwards.
Also Consider: Scottie Barnes, Terance Mann
POWER FORWARD
Aaron Gordon - Denver (vs. Washington) - DK: $6,300 / FD: $6,100 / Yahoo: $21
Gordon is similar to Wiggins, as I think he’s underpriced with a good chance to meet value. Gordon had back-to-back strong outings against the Spurs with 39 and 32 fantasy points respectively. Tonight’s matchup looks better against a Washington team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency to power forwards. There’s a chance Gordon will pick up more usage if Will Barton (questionable) is out, but I like “AG” either way.
Also Consider: John Collins, Christian Wood
CENTER
Joel Embiid - Philadelphia (at Memphis) - DK: $11,000 / FD: $10,500 / Yahoo: $49
Embiid is due for a breakout performance, and tonight’s matchup at Memphis provides an excellent landing spot for that to happen. The Grizzlies are shorthanded up front, as Steven Adams is doubtful, Brandon Clarke is out, and Jaren Jackson Jr. is questionable. Adams’ absence provides a massive opportunity for Embiid, as I’m not sure the Grizzlies have anyone else to slow him down. This should be a tight contest with the Sixers feeding Embiid throughout.
Also Consider: Xavier Tillman, Daniel Gafford (GPP)
POTENTIAL BARGAINS
Kevin Huerter (SG - ATL) is one of those guys who is just underpriced. He’s seeing full starter minutes every night, and the matchup looks outstanding against Houston. Yes, Huerter has a boom-or-bust element with his fantasy production tied to making long jumpers. However, the matchup and cheap salary ease that concern.
Terance Mann (SF - LAC) has stepped up in two games with Paul George out, averaging 33 minutes and 28 fantasy points. He should keep that role with George doubtful again tonight. The matchup vs. Phoenix isn’t great, but Mann is still too cheap when considering his heightened role sans George.
Xavier Tillman (PF/C - MEM) will step up for the shorthanded Memphis frontcourt. He has a tough battle with Embiid, but the sheer price vs. minute/expected production combination puts him in value territory through all formats.
