POINT GUARD

Chris Paul – Phoenix (at Golden State) - DK: $8,000 / FD: $8,200 / Yahoo: $37

The most anticipated game tonight has to be this Western Conference showdown, even without Steph Curry on the court. Paul has been back for the Suns for two games, averaging 48 fantasy points in them. Both were big double-doubles and he recorded and block and steal in each, so he looks like the old CP3. The Warriors rank third with their high turnover rate, and Paul is averaging 2.0 steals per game against them this season, so he should be able to pad his stat line there a bit. In a competitive game that should be as good defensively as offensively, Paul should put up similar numbers to point guards that will cost you a lot more than him tonight.

Also Consider: Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, LaMelo Ball, Davion Mitchell, Jordan Poole, Darius Garland

SHOOTING GUARD

Kevin Huerter – Atlanta (at Oklahoma City) - DK: $5,500 / FD: $5,500 / Yahoo: $16

Atlanta is a huge road favorite against the Thunder tonight, a team that allows the second-most overall fantasy points to opponents and second-most to SG specifically. Huerter offers some decent salary savings tonight in the plus matchup, and he’s been returning good value, going for at least 34 fantasy points in three of his last four games. That is on the strength of his scoring, making 50 percent of his 22 three-point shot attempts in the last two games. The Thunder rank near the bottom of the league in rebounding so he could get lucky with more than his average in that category as well.

Also Consider: CJ McCollum, Alec Burks, Devin Booker, Klay Thompson, Gary Trent, Jalen Green, Tyrese Haliburton, Aaron Wiggins, Ben McLemore, D’Angelo Russell, Donte DiVincenzo

SMALL FORWARD

Brandon Ingram – New Orleans (at Portland) - DK: $7,300 / FD: $8,800 / Yahoo: $32 (SG)

Everyone’s talking about CJ McCollum and his first crack at a revenge game in Portland tonight, which could lead Ingram to go under-rostered. His salary varies a lot, but I wanted to include him here for that DK price as well as the premier matchup of the entire slate. Ingram has put together a very steady season, but posted almost 10 points over his average the first time he played the Trail Blazers, the league’s best SF matchup and third-best for fantasy overall. Portland now ranks dead last in defensive rating, so expect the Pelicans to go for the jugular tonight as they attempt to secure their play-in tournament spot.

Also Consider: Jayson Tatum, Desmond Bane, RJ Barrett, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield, Miles Bridges, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, Kevin Porter Jr.

POWER FORWARD

Keldon Johnson – San Antonio (vs. Memphis) - DK: $6,900 / FD: $7,300 / Yahoo: $26

I’m ok with a lot of players from this game, and actually think Johnson’s salary is a bit high, but he’s been playing fully to his potential lately as the Spurs have eased past the Lakers for a play-in slot in the West. Both of these teams play at a fast pace, and this game has the highest over/under of the night (234 points). PF is a surprisingly sparse selection on some sites tonight, given the large slate, but Johnson, with his ~35-40 fantasy points per game is looking like a solid option, even with the climbing salary.

Also Consider: Rui Hachimura, Grant Williams, Oshae Brissett, Scottie Barnes, Aaron Gordon

CENTER

Pascal Siakam – Toronto (vs. Minnesota) - DK: $9,600 / FD: $9,500 (PF) / Yahoo: $38

Toronto benefits tonight from the Timberwolves league-leading pace but in most respects these teams are pretty well-matched. Vegas anticipates a high scoring and close game, perfect conditions for both sides to help your lineups tonight. I love Siakam’s floor/ceiling combination, especially in this kind of game, and especially knowing that Minnesota is an above-average matchup for opposing bigs. Siakam is coming off a HUGE double-double and has been a scoring machine for the Raptors lately. Look for more of the same at a significant discount from your top-tier options.

Also Consider: Nikola Jokic, Karl-Anthony Towns, Steven Adams, Drew Eubanks, Kristaps Porzingis, Damian Jones, Alperen Sengun (if active)

Additional Notes

Donte DiVincenzo (G – SAC) I’ve outlined a slightly more solid, second-tier strategy for tonight, but DiVincenzo works even if you’re aiming for more stars and scrubs thanks to his affordable salary tonight ($14 Yahoo, $5300 FD and DK). He’s been playing around 30 MPG since mid-March, and in all but one game has posted at least 24 fantasy points. A blowout loss to the Celtics, the NBA’s leading defensive team, was that exception. Tonight the Kings get the Rockets in what should be a fast and loose fantasy-frenzy. When in doubt, slot in the cheap options from this game.

Kevin Love (F/C – CLE) Love’s value dipped after a poor showing vs. Chicago last weekend, but with Evan Mobley dealing with an ankle injury and Jarrett Allen obviously still out, he rises yet again. At $6900 on DK, Love is not making it into my lineups, but he’s a notable $5300 on FanDuel, savings that go a long way toward getting three stars in your lineups there. At $16 on Yahoo, I’m happy if he fits, but not forcing the issue. A matchup with Dallas isn’t an easy one, but this should be a close game at least.

Mo Bamba (C – ORL) is a player I’m reserving for GPPs, mainly because his ups and downs have bitten me too many times. All signs indicate this should be a great spot for him, however, with a very friendly matchup with Washington on tap and Wendell Carter Jr. ruled out tonight. Bamba is averaging 36 fantasy points against the Wizards in two games this season, and in only 26 MPG. If he can get to 30-35 minutes tonight, I feel very good about his ability to exceed value.
