With both Jalen Smith (calf) and Patrick Williams (quad) set to miss at least a week, Sexton will fill out the open spot in the starting unit. Barring more changes from head coach Billy Donovan or other injuries, Sexton should start at least four games, making him worth streaming for now.

The Trail Blazers won’t have Deni Avdija (back) or Donovan Clingan (illness) for Thursday’s game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Henderson will make his first start of the season, filling the void left by Clingan. As a result, Portland will go without a center in its opening lineup, with Grant likely taking on those responsibilities.

Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson, Bilal Coulibaly, Will Riley and Tristan Vukčević will start Thursday’s game against the Hawks.

The Wizards won’t have Kyshawn George for Thursday’s game, as he is out with a left knee contusion. Riley, who tallied 18 points in Tuesday’s loss to the Hawks, moves into the starting lineup. The rookie wing is a player who should be rostered throughout the silly season, whether he starts or comes off the bench.
Amen Thompson

HOU Guard-Forward #1

Amen Thompson, Kevin Durant, Tari Eason, Jabari Smith Jr. and Alperen Şengün will start Thursday’s game against the Magic.

Thompson is back in the Rockets’ lineup after sitting out Wednesday’s win over the Kings, pushing Reed Sheppard to the bench. While Sheppard will remain in the rotation, his playing time will likely decrease.
Jonathan Kuminga

ATL Forward #0

CJ McCollum, Dyson Daniels, Zaccharie Risacher, Jonathan Kuminga and Onyeka Okongwu will start against the Wizards on Thursday.

With Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) and Jalen Johnson (hip) both sidelined, Risacher and Kuminga will join the starting unit. Risacher has come off the bench the last two games after starting most of the year, while Kuminga will be making his second appearance and first start as a Hawk.
Khris Middleton

DAL Forward #20

Khris Middleton (shoulder) is available to play against the Kings on Thursday.

Middleton will be good to go after being upgraded to probable earlier in the day. He exited early on Tuesday, but that will be the extent of his absence with this right shoulder stinger. Caleb Martin will occupy his typical role off the bench.
Obi Toppin

IND Forward #1

Andrew Nembhard, Ben Sheppard, Jarace Walker, Obi Toppin and Jay Huff will start against the Hornets on Thursday.

Toppin will immediately start in his first game since Oct. 26, which means rookie Kam Jones will head to the bench after starting Indiana’s last three games. He held streaming value as a starter, but with both Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell healthy, Jones likely won’t play enough to be worth keeping rostered.
Joel Embiid

PHI Center-Forward #21

Joel Embiid (knee, shin) is available for Thursday’s game against the Heat.

Embiid is good to go after initially being listed as probable for Thursday’s game. He played 26 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pacers, and fantasy managers should expect to see Embiid take on a similar workload. Andre Drummond will likely fall out of the rotation entirely, with Adem Bona serving as the backup.
