The Patriots selected Wallace with the 68th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but now, the third-year vet will hit waivers in hopes of continuing his career elsewhere. Injuries have taken their toll on Wallace early in his career. He’s been limited to just 10 games since entering the league and has made only two starts. Wherever he lands next, Wallace will likely have to make the roster as added depth in hopes of eventually playing his way into a more meaningful role.

Tunsil suffered a torn triceps on Saturday and is at risk of missing most or all of the regular season. Quinn said the team hopes to have a better sense of his recovery timeline after his surgery, but for now, the Commanders are set to move forward with third-year lineman Brandon Coleman as their starting left tackle. Coleman has spent all of camp competing with Chris Paul for the starting left guard spot, but started 12 games at left tackle for the Commanders in 2024.

One of the beneficiaries of Drake Maye’s 2025 breakout campaign was Henry, who caught 60 passes and seven touchdowns while posting a career-high 768 receiving yards. Henry, 31, has spent the last five seasons with the Patriots and has been a reliable producer for them in the passing game and has always been reliable as a run blocker. His new deal will keep him under contract through the 2028 season. Henry profiles as a mid-TE2 in fantasy this season and has produced 13 top-12 PPR weeks since 2024.

It’s not the worst-case scenario, but fantasy managers were likely hoping for a better recovery timeline. The talented second-year player has consistently drawn rave reviews since spring practices. Bears coach Ben Johnson recently compared Burden’s dogged mindset to players he previously coached, including Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and former Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry, noting Burden wants to be “the most conditioned player on the team, and one of the strongest receivers on the team.” Burden will undoubtedly do everything he can to be ready for Week 1, but treating him as questionable to play in the season opener is the prudent move for now. According to CHGO Bears’ Adam Hoge, Thomas went down at practice on Sunday, “briefly grabbed his knee and then walked off with a slight limp.” Hopefully, the Bears’ speedy third-round rookie only suffered a minor injury. Bears coaches were likely hoping to get an extended look at Thomas in preseason play after he turned in a strong showing in spring practices. Bears WR Luther Burden (groin) is currently sidelined, leaving the wide receiver corps somewhat thin at the moment.

NFL teams have begun hosting training camp scrimmages to give fans a glimpse into elements like play calling, starters and so on. Does this development mean Love has secured the Week 1 starting role? Not necessarily, no, but this is certainly encouraging. At worst, he seemingly has decent odds of rising to the Cardinals’ RB1 role early in the year. He remains a worthwhile pick at his current ADP.

Last week, Florio reported that Donald had hoped to make a decision early this week. The 35-year-old retired Ram has apparently kicked the can and now hopes to make a call at the end of the week. If it drags on longer than that, the Rams might not take issue with it. Simply getting Donald back in the building, even in a rotational capacity, is the ultimate goal.

Young, the rookie, “has seemingly stacked at least one impressive catch per day.” Iosivas has had “a few notable drops,” but he reportedly “appears as polished and athletic as ever at getting open.” Both players could be worth late-round picks in best ball formats, but neither one is likely to return FLEX value in re-draft without WR1 Ja’Marr Chase or WR2 Tee Higgins missing time. Iosivas is entering a contract year, and the team just spent a fourth-round pick on Young. An in-season breakout from the rookie would make things easier from a salary cap perspective. Dehner also notes that former CFL WR Dohnte Meyers “has been a talk of camp” thus far.

Arnold visited with the Texans about a month ago, and it was recently reported that the Jets had some level of interest in him as well. Arnold’s August 13 arraignment regarding a kidnapping and robbery case is fast approaching, and the Seahawks evidently wanted to bring him in for a visit beforehand. A deal does not appear to be imminent, but things could move quickly at some point down the road.

As of Thursday, Neal was taking advantage of RB Kendre Miller’s back injury by playing well at practice. Miller is still sidelined, but now Neal is too. The two backs, along with RBs Audric Estime, Ty Chandler and CJ Donaldson, are all competing for the RB3 job. The fact that Neal is working with the training staff out in the open is a good sign, but this is worth keeping an eye on because a hamstring injury ended his rookie season prematurely.
