Bengals WR Tee Higgins (heel) is practicing in full for Week 1 against the Buccaneers.

The Bengals will have their top two wide receivers on the field for what should be a high-scoring game against the Buccaneers. Higgins is a high-end WR2 with WR1 upside, playing alongside WR1 Ja’Marr Chase this weekend.
NFL could 'deconstruct' Sunday Ticket by 2030
Mike Florio discusses the future of NFL broadcasting on the heels of a report that the league could do away with Sunday Ticket, the subscription service allowing fans to watch every out-of-market game, by 2030.

Higgins scored his first touchdown of the season late in the second quarter when he hauled in a contested target against Asante Samuel Jr. for a 28-yard score while falling backward in the end zone. Higgins has now gone for 90-plus yards in back-to-back games and has seen six or more targets in every game this season. He’ll be a high-upside WR2 in next week’s game against the Jaguars.

Higgins had a number of incredible catches in this one, including a backshoulder ball in the fourth quarter. His longest gain of the day, a 23-yarder to get the Bengals into Ja’Marr Chase touchdown range, actually happened when he was left uncovered by the Texans over the middle. Whoops. Higgins will be a WR2 against the Steelers in Week 3.

Higgins also had a long second half reception overturned when he failed to keep control heading to the ground. Like Ja’Marr Chase, it was a quiet statistical start to the year caused in part by short Bengals fields following Bucs turnovers. Tampa’s defense also seemed to be forcing Joe Burrow to the middle of the field. Higgins has a tough Week 2 test in the Texans, but we are still firing him up as a WR2 after Houston’s defense folded vs. the Bills on Sunday.

Bengals HC Zac Taylor said Higgins and fellow receiver Ja’Marr Chase (knee) will both be good to go for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. Higgins has been dealing with a heel/foot injury in recent weeks but will be on the field for the team’s season-opener. He profiles as a high-end WR2 in what is expected to be a high-scoring game to kick off the Bengals’ 2026 season.

Higgins has been dealing with a heel contusion recently, but the issue never seemed serious. He has still been able to practice in a limited capacity over the past week. He may ultimately be limited on the team’s first injury report of the season, but there’s almost no chance Higgins misses Week 1 versus the Bucs. He will be a boom/bust WR2 barring a setback.

Tee Higgins (heel contusion) was also spotted at practice after both players were said to be limited participants last week. The Bengals won’t release their first official injury report of the week until Wednesday, but it doesn’t sound like either Chase or Higgins is at risk of missing Week 1’s game against the Buccaneers. As usual, Chase profiles as a high-end fantasy WR1, while Higgins should be viewed more as a WR2 with WR1 upside in any given week.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #1
We’re not viewing this as a major cause for concern; the Bengals have no reason to rush Chase back on the field after he hyperextended his knee last week. If he’s still drawing limited tags on the official injury reports next week, then we can start Panic Mode. Taylor added that Higgins (heel contusion) may also be limited this week. "(Tee) and Ja’Marr will be good at the end of the week,” said Taylor.

As has been the case in each of the past three years, injuries took their toll on Higgins and turned what would have been a good season into a rather disappointing one. He missed two games with separate concussions. Joe Burrow also spent multiple months on injured reserve with a turf toe injury. His absence briefly tanked the offense, though Joe Flacco eventually saved the day for fantasy managers when he took over for Jake Browning. Higgins finished the year with 59 grabs and 846 yards. Neither of those numbers are particularly close to his best marks, but he did bring down a career-high 11 receiving touchdowns, five of which came from Flacco. Despite the modest year, Higgins is still one of the best No. 2 receivers in the NFL, and fantasy managers will keep him in the WR2 mix when early 2026 drafts come around.

It was a disappointing statline on an afternoon where Joe Burrow cleared 300 yards in three quarters, but Higgins at least didn’t stick finals-week managers with a zero. Held under 60 in each of his two appearances since returning from his latest concussion, Higgins is closing out the year on a quiet note. That probably won’t change for a Week 18 matchup with the Browns’ elite defense.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
Returning after a one-game absence with his concussion issues, Higgins dominated Jack Jones in the end zone on his nine-yard touchdown to get the scoring started in the first quarter. He was quiet after that as Chase Brown and Mike Gesicki combined for four scores, but fantasy managers got what they came for. That included Higgins escaping without further injury problems. He’s a must play, as usual, for Week 17 against the Cardinals’ awful defense.

Stefon Diggs caught 5-of-9 targets for 35 yards in the Commanders’ Week 4 loss to the Colts.

Diggs was the Commanders’ No. 1 receiver with Terry McLaurin out. That was good for a 24 percent target share and a handful of PPR points, but not much else. Marcus Mariota went down on the second drive and Athan Kaliakmanis took his place for the remainder of the game. Kaliakmanis made a few big throws but the offense struggled on the whole. Diggs could be in line for a big boost in fantasy production if Jayden Daniels is back next week, but McLaurin could just as easily return and take back his WR1 role. Diggs’ Week 5 fantasy outlook could swing wildly depending on how those injuries shake out this week.

FOX Sports’ Erin Andrews reports that Puka Nacua has been dealing with a “pre-hernia” injury.

Andrews broke the news while reporting from the sideline of the Rams’ Week 4 game against the Eagles. Signs have been pointing to this type of injury for a while now, with the Rams referring to Nacua’s nagging injury as both a hip and groin issue. Just over two minutes remain in the third quarter, and Nacua has only come off the field for a few plays thus far. It appears as though the team has handled the injury well, though one imagines re-injury risk is still a factor. That said, he is a WR1 whenever he is active.

Treylon Burks caught 1-of-3 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders’ Week 4 loss to the Colts.

Burks only catch of the day came on a double-move that saw him burn Sauce Gardner for a massive touchdown, though he may have simply been working back to the quarterback before realizing the throw was going over his head. Either way, Burks turned on the jets, tracked down the ball, and ran in the Commanders’ only touchdown of the day. Burks isn’t on the fantasy radar despite the long catch, but it’s nice to see him carving out a role in Washington.

Broncos declared OLB Dondrea Tillman, QB Sam Ehlinger, TE Dallen Bentley, DL Tyler Onyedim, and OL Kage Casey inactive for Week 4 against the 49ers.

The Broncos head into Week 4 as one of the healthiest teams in the league. They will be without Tillman and Onyedim, however. Denver’s defense will look to slow down the red-hot Niners offense.

Chig Okonkwo caught 2-of-4 targets for five yards in the Commanders’ Week 4 loss to the Colts.

Okonkwo was back in action today after missing the last two games with a hamstring issue. With Marcus Mariota exiting this game early because of an injury, the passing attack was out of whack from the jump. There wasn’t much of a chance to reinstall Okonkwo into the mix this week. The hope is that he will earn more work with Jayden Daniels potentially back in the lineup in Week 5, but fantasy managers will need to see it to believe it with Okonkwo.

Mike Evans (ribs) is active for Week 4 against the Broncos.

Evans will battle through his rib injury and suit up against Denver, though it remains to be seen whether the veteran will play a full complement of snaps. Through three games Evans has accounted for 22 percent of he 49ers’ targets and 30 percent of the team’s air yards. The Niners declared QB Kurtis Rourke, DE Nick Bosa, DT James Thompson Jr., RB Jordan James, LB Tatum Bethune, CB Ephesians Prysock, and OT Enrique Cruz Jr. inactive against the Broncos.

Dee Alford is questionable to return to Week 4 against the Patriots with an ankle injury.

Alford was injured in a pile while making a tackle in the third quarter. His backup, Te’Cory Couch, has already been injured in this game as well. That means that the Bills will turn to practice squad call-up Kani Walker or safety Damar Hamlin as their slot corner.

Ravens RG Andrew Vorhees (foot) has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 4’s game against the Titans.

Vorhees exited late in the first half against the Titans and was replaced by Emery Jones. Vorhees was making his first start of the season this week and played on just eight snaps in last week’s game against the Cowboys. Hopefully this isn’t anything too serious, as the Ravens’ interior offensive line has already been hit with multiple injuries this season.

Edgerrin Cooper suffered an Achilles injury in Week 4 against the Bucs and will not return.

Cooper went down with a non-contact injury and had to be carted from the field. The team ruled him out shortly after he left the field. Unfortunately, this looks like a torn Achilles for the young linebacker.

Dyami Brown caught 3-of-4 targets for 65 yards in the Commanders’ Week 4 loss to the Colts.

Third-string quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis took over early in this game and the two backups quickly formed a connection. Kaliakmanis hit him on a 48-yard strike in the third quarter for the team’s longest offensive play of the day. Kaliakmanis couldn’t get much else going, but the long catch alone was enough to lead the Commanders in receiving yards. By targets, Brown was still the team’s WR3, so fantasy managers shouldn’t worry about adding him off the waiver wire ahead of Week 5.
