Jalen McMillan (knee) is doubtful for Week 1 against the Bengals.

In addition to McMillan, the Buccaneers are also listing RB Sean Tucker (hamstring) as doubtful, putting both players on the wrong side of being active for Week 1. McMillan was able to log a limited week of practice, so hopefully he’ll have a chance to suit up in Week 2 when the Buccaneers take on the Browns. Rookie WR Ted Hurst should make for an interesting dart throw in DFS as he looks to be in line for more work with McMillan sidelined.
Gibbs, Allen, Bengals defense impress in Week 1
Devin McCourty, Jason Garrett and Mike Florio hand out game balls for Week 1, spotlighting the defensive improvement by the Bengals, Josh Allen shouldering the load in a Bills win and Jahmyr Gibbs's massive workload.

Tucker’s expected absence is a nice little boost for Bucky Irving as he looks to shore up his RB2 value following a disastrous 2025. Kenneth Gainwell is unlikely to battle Iriving for goal-line handles. Seeing as Tucker received a “doubtful” tag for Week 1, he’s likely on the wrong side of questionable for Week 2, but his return will at least be a possibility.

As is Sean Tucker (hamstring). McMillan’s immediate absence will force the Bucs to dig in to their young receiving depth earlier than they would have liked, but rookie Ted Hurst is not a bad fall-back option for the club. For fantasy managers, however, Hurst is not yet an option even in 14-team leagues. Also inactive for the Bucs are OT Justin Skule, CB Ayden Garnes, DL DeMonte Capehart, DL Elijah Simmons and OG Billy Schrauth.

The Buccaneers’ No. 3 running back is only a bench stash at this time, but he could take on a few touches if he is active against the Bengals this weekend. He should be considered questionable to play at this time.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
McMillan is on track to face the Bengals on Sunday, but he is clearly still ramping up post-injury, potentially adding volatility to his Week 1 outlook. The Buccaneers’ No. 3 wide receiver is a boom-bust FLEX.
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
The Buccaneers listed McMillan as a starter on the official depth chart yesterday, which is seemingly a vote of confidence regarding his availability this week. McMillan is on track to play, but will likely be limited to FLEX status in fantasy, playing behind WR Emeka Egbuka and WR Chris Godwin.
  • TB Running Back #44
Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles said earlier this week that Tucker will be a game-time decision for Week 1 against the Bengals. His continued absence from practice is discouraging, but it bodes well for RB Bucky Irving and RB Kenneth Gainwell. Tucker is not expected to be a high-volume offensive contributor at this point, but adding even a couple of touches to each player’s workload is helpful
  • TB Wide Receiver #11
It’s McMillan, not rookie WR Ted Hurst III, who’s listed as a starter alongside Chris Godwin and Emeka Egbuka ahead of Tampa’s Week 1 game against the Bengals. Hurst, the tallest of the Bucs wideouts, has by all accounts impressed Bucs players and coaches throughout the offseason and should have some kind of role in the team’s passing attack to start the year. It could be a while before Hurst takes on a more prominent role, however. Bucs general manager Jason Licht said last week that Hurst, 22, has “proven to us throughout camp, even OTAs, practice every day that he’s been very, very steady...it’s kind of evolved into okay, we can use him this year and he’s going to play a role.” Hurst can be stashed in deeper fantasy formats for now. McMillan is unlikely to be a factor in the Tampa offense after once again struggling with injuries this offseason.
  • TB Running Back #44
Bowles didn’t disclose what Tucker is dealing with because he doesn’t have to do that until Wednesday, when the team releases its first injury report. That said, it sounds like Tucker is facing an uphill battle to be ready for Week 1, and we know he was sidelined for Monday’s practice. His absence isn’t expected to have much of a fantasy impact, as Tucker is expected to serve as the third RB for the Bucs behind both Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell.
  • TB Wide Receiver #2
Egbuka was working with trainers last week, but was on the field with the team on Monday. The Buccaneers won’t release their first official injury report until Wednesday, but it sounds like Egbuka is trending in the right direction ahead of the Buccaneers’ Week 1 game against the Bengals. Egbuka has been dealing with this toe injury since mid-August, but it seems like the Bucs have slowly ramped him up as of late. His practice status will be one to monitor when the first injury report drops. In addition to Egbuka, WR Jalen McMillan and OT Justin Skule were also practicing, while RB Sean Tucker was not seen on the field.
  • TB Wide Receiver #2
Egbuka was given a ringing “hopefully” response from Todd Bowles when asked if he’d play in Week 1. We’re not overly concerned just yet, but he’s going to need to practice at some point to play. Jalen McMillan (knee) also sat, though we’re not as concerned about him since he’s practiced on that knee injury.

Elic Ayomanor caught 1-of-3 targets for an 11-yard touchdown in the Titans’ Week 1 loss to the Jets.

Ayomanor’s score came deep into garbage time with the Titans trailing 23-3. 23-year-old Ayomanor had an impressive rookie year for a fourth-round pick in 2025, but he’s now buried behind Carnell Tate and Wan’Dale Robinson in the Titans’ receiver corps. This is not an offense that is going to be producing consistent production out of the No. 3 receiver spot. We’ll let you know if Ayomanor becomes 12-team league relevant, but don’t count on it.

De’Von Achane rushed 11 times for 36 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 1 loss to the Raiders, adding four receptions for 30 yards.

Aside from QB Malik Willis, Achane was the only Dolphins player who touched the ball throughout the entire first quarter, totaling 25 scrimmage yards on three carries and two receptions. Unfortunately, the Raiders jumped out to a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter, forcing the Dolphins into a pass-heavy game script. Willis focused on aggressive downfield throws as the game progressed, which in turn limited Achane to 15 touches on the day, and only Willis entered the end zone. Achane looked like his normal speedy self, but unfavorable game scripts could be an issue for him all year. He is an RB2 against the 49ers in Week 2.

Braelon Allen rushed 10 times for 40 yards in the Jets’ Week 1 win over the Titans.

The only Jets back to touch the ball behind Breece Hall — Isaiah Davis was not heard from — Allen was mixed in throughout the game as a true breather back. As in, he did not rack up a disproportionate amount of his touches with the Jets looking to kill the clock late in a sleepy victory. Allen actually notched a nifty 23-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but it was called back by holding. Although Allen would undoubtedly form a committee with Davis in the event of a Hall injury, it is clear he would be the strong-side. He’s a high-upside contingency back heading in to Week 2 against the Packers.

Greg Dulcich caught 2-of-2 targets for 18 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 1 loss to the Raiders.

Both of Dulcich’s targets occurred on the third drive. One was a six-yarder via play action. The other was a delayed screen pass, which Dulcich admirably ran for 12 yards, picking up a first down along the way. The fact that he was barely involved in a pass-heavy game script bodes poorly for his TE1 viability. He does not need to be rostered in 12-team leagues heading into Week 2.

Malik Washington caught 3-of-8 targets for 53 yards and lost one fumble in the Dolphins’ Week 1 loss to the Raiders.

Washington is a complementary third receiver currently running as the Dolphins’ No. 2 player at the position. He produced a nice 30-yard catch-and-run on a crossing route, but later had the ball punched out by a Raiders defender, and the Raiders recovered, sealing his team’s loss. Washington is a WR5/6 against the 49ers in Week 2.

Rachaad White rushed seven times for 22 yards in the Commanders’ Week 1 loss to the Eagles, adding two receptions for five additional yards.

White’s 15 routes run one more than Jacory Croskey-Merritt in this one, but White was clearly the preferred back to have on the field in third-down situations. White was on the field for 14 of the Commanders’ 15 third downs on Sunday, while Croskey-Merritt failed to see a snap in third-down situations. The Commanders struggled to generate anything offensively against one of the league’s top defenses until the fourth quarter, when they managed to find the end zone twice. White will be hard to trust in Week 2’s game against the Cowboys, but fantasy managers can continue to stash him and wait to see if things improve against a Cowboys defense that was among the league’s worst last season.

Carson Wentz completed 12-of-19 passes for 133 yards and three touchdowns in the Vikings’ 39-22, Week 1 win over the Packers.

Kyler Murray took a brutal shot to the head in the first quarter and was quickly ruled out with a concussion. Wentz’s production came in fits and starts, but he did ultimately bring the Vikings back from a 12-point deficit. Minnesota’s defense then put the pressure on Jordan Love and forced back-to-back turnovers that gave Wentz the ball in the red zone. Jordan Mason scored a touchdown on the first drive and Wentz put an exclamation point on the day with a short touchdown toss to Jefferson on the second. Assuming Murray misses Week 2, Wentz will be in the QB2 mix for Superflex players. He faces a Bears defense that just gave up 37 points to the Panthers.

Chris Bell caught 1-of-2 targets for 25 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 1 loss to the Raiders.

Bell was less involved than fellow third-round rookie WR Caleb Douglas, but Bell still bagged a 25-yarder on a post route via play action. He nearly snagged another pass from QB Malik Willis on the run, but a Raiders defensive back got a hand on the ball, breaking up the pass. He clearly ran as the No. 3 wide receiver in snaps, but now is the time to add him and stash him on the bench. He should not be in fantasy lineups next week against the 49ers.

Rashod Bateman failed to secure his only target in the Ravens’ Week 1 win over the Colts.

Bateman’s 27 routes run led all Ravens receivers, but this is the kind of production we’ve come to expect from the sixth-year receiver despite him regularly being on the field. Bateman will draw some consideration as a Week 2 streaming option against the Saints next week if Zay Flowers (hamstring) is unable to play, but he shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than a desperation dart throw.

Caleb Douglas caught 5-of-7 targets for 94 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 1 loss to the Raiders.

In preseason play, Douglas showed a real knack for getting open downfield, whether stretching the seam from the slot or working along the sideline, particularly during the scramble drill. Those traits showed up again today. The rookie wide receiver delivered multiple double-digit gains. Douglas snagged a 25-yarder on 2nd-and-26 after getting open for QB Malik Willis, who had rolled out of the pocket, evading defenders. The play set up a successful field goal attempt, giving the Dolphins their first points of the day. He helped set up the Dolphins’ next successful field goal on the following drive by snagging a 30-yard pass on an in-breaking route from the slot. Douglas is officially FLEX-viable against the 49ers next week.
