ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports DJ Moore (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Chargers.

Moore suffered an AC joint sprain in Week 2 and did not return to that game. He got in two limited practices this week before being listed as questionable. He will suit up versus the Chargers, though it’s unclear how much the shoulder issue will affect him. Moore would normally be a solid WR2 option in this spot, but fantasy managers will likely want to treat him as a WR3 until we see how the shoulder injury impacts his play and usage.
With Etienne out, who can step up for Saints?
Patrick Daugherty and Denny Carter unpack the news that New Orlean Saints' free agent addition Travis Etienne will not be out on the field in Week 4, due to a hamstring injury.

Despite being questionable coming into the day with a shoulder injury, Moore led the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards. He played 42 of the team’s 62 snaps and ran a route on 24 of the 33 dropbacks. That’s the highest share of any receiver on the team. The Bills weren’t able to hit many shots down the field, but Moore was the target on key conversions and is the clear top target in Buffalo. He will be a WR2 in a tough matchup against the Patriots next week.

Both DJ Moore (shoulder) and Keon Coleman (ankle) were listed as questionable on the final injury report, but both of them will suit up to play. There’s a chance that they could have their snap share managed as they play through injuries, but we’d have to assume they’re both relatively healthy if the Bills are going to put both of them on the field in an early-season matchup. You may just see a little more Khalil Shakir and Josh Palmer usage than normal. Moore remains the receiver with the most fantasy upside and could be a low-end WR2 with Shakir also being a solid WR3 in PPR formats given his role as a lower aDOT target-earner.

This is unsurprising based on how the week trended. Moore practiced twice in a non-contact jersey and rested on Thursday. Moore-reliant managers should be prepared to pivot on Sunday morning if need be. Moore did speak to reporters after Brady, giving some optimism that he could be available if he can clear the last few steps of his rehab process.

He is wearing the red non-contact jersey, however. With a DNP sandwiched between two sessions with the non-contact jersey, Moore is likely to be questionable at best for Week 3. We’ll see how the designations fall later today, but Moore-reliant fantasy managers should have a backup plan ready for Sunday.

Neither was Keon Coleman. Moore grabbed a limited listing on Wednesday while wearing a non-contact jersey in practice; a downgrade would be troubling for his chances of playing in Week 3. Coleman (ankle) has now missed the first two days of the week and would need a comeback on Friday to get on the questionable line.

Moore was officially listed as limited after wearing a red non-contact jersey in practice. He left the Bills’ Week 2 game last Thursday and did not return with this shoulder injury. It’s a good sign that he is practicing but the non-contact jersey indicates Moore still has a ways to go before being cleared to play Week 3 against the Chargers.

Moore is believed to have suffered an AC joint sprain in Week 2. He left in the first half after landing on his shoulder and did not return. His status for Week 3 remains up in the air, but an immediate return to practice would be a good sign. He got off to a hot start in Week 1 with 100 yards and a touchdown before being shut out in his brief Week 2 showing. The extra rest between Thursday’s game and Buffalo’s upcoming matchup with the Chargers will hopefully be enough to get more back on the field.

This is already shaping up to be an injury that will be monitored throughout all of next week. Moore is believed to have suffered an AC joint sprain in the Bills’ Week 2 win over the Lions, and while the injury isn’t considered serious, sources familiar with the situation haven’t ruled out the possibility that he’ll miss at least one game. Moore was held without a catch on Thursday after catching five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. Moore’s absence could open the door for Keon Coleman to see more work. Coleman played on 55 snaps against the Lions after playing on just 29 in Week 1, and caught all six of his targets for 63 yards.

Moore departed with just over three minutes remaining in the second quarter after appearing to injure his shoulder on a diving attempt in the end zone. He remained on the field for multiple minutes before being helped to the sideline with trainers. He went straight to the locker room under his own power, presumably for testing. The team has yet to release an official designation, although it appears unlikely he will return to the game. Moore was not targeted before departing as the play he was injured on was called back for an offensive hold.

Moore also added a long 46-yard DPI penalty in the end zone to get the Bills their second touchdown of the game. The touchdown catch wasn’t anything fancy, but Texans S Reed Blankenship tried to jump the ball and once Moore caught it there was nobody behind him. It is worth noting that Moore left late in the game to the medical tent, it looked like he was rolled up on during James Cook’s late-game fumble, but he did return to play. We’ll be monitoring for Moore on the early injury reports ahead of Week 2’s TNF showdown with the Lions, but he’s an obvious Week 1 success story as the team’s leading wide receiver. He’ll be on the WR2/WR3 line if everything is fine, as we suspect it will be.

The Denver Post’s Sam Jane reports Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle is “fine” after he was spotted in a walking boot following the Broncos’ Week 3 win over the Rams.

Waddle was spotted in a walking boot after the Broncos’ Sunday night win, prompting speculation over his status. Jane reports that Waddle is “fine” while beat reporter Zac Stevens said a source told him “there’s nothing wrong” with the 27-year-old wideout. The boot certainly could have been a precautionary measure but we will wait for Wednesday’s practice report to find out if Waddle is truly dealing with an injury.

49ers signed WR Dante Pettis to their practice squad.

Pettis reunites with the 49ers, who add him for receiver depth given the rash of pass-catcher injuries to open the season. He began his career as a second-round pick for San Francisco, bouncing around as a depth receiver and special teamer with the Giants, Bears, and Saints as well. Pettis may see some game day action soon given his familiarity with Kyle Shanahan, but he should be nowhere near fantasy rosters.

Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. (NIR/conditioning) was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice.

Though Porter has been listed on the injury report with a back issue to start the season, he was listed for “conditioning” to open this week. It’s no secret Porter is in a contract dispute and the Steelers have been getting trade calls on the 26-year-old. However, he is practicing fully ahead of a Week 4 Thursday matchup against the Browns and could certainly play. When asked if Porter will play, head coach Mike McCarthy said, “We hope so.” With Jalen Ramsey dealing with a broken wrist, Porter’s help will be welcome in the secondary.

ESPN’s Brooke Pryor reports Steelers CB Jalen Ramsey has a broken wrist.

Ramsey has been listed as a limited practice participant for the Steelers’ first two practice reports. He told Pryor that his wrist is broken but still has a chance to play against the Browns on Thursday. If he does play, Ramsey will likely wear a brace/cast on his wrist after wearing one in practice this week.

With the Commanders playing the Colts in London this week, the team has begun travelling on Tuesday. Cosmi and S Nick Cross (illness) did not travel with the team and are promptly ruled out for Week 4. Both will miss their second consecutive game and hope to return in Week 5 against the Giants.

    Cowboys signed S Juanyeh Thomas.

With secondary injuries adding up, the Cowboys have signed S Juanyeh Thomas and CB Alex Austin. Thomas began his career with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent, tallying 62 career tackles in 36 games over the past four seasons. Austin comes over from the Dolphins; both players reinforce an increasingly banged-up secondary.

Steelers RB Rico Dowdle (toe) did not participate in Tuesday’s practice.

Dowdle remains out with a toe injury he suffered in Week 2. Opening a short week with back-to-back DNPs indicates he will sit out once again for Week 4 against the Browns. Jaylen Warren will be the workhorse for a Thursday night matchup.

Free agent C Graham Glasgow visited with the Ravens on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old was released in March by the Lions and has not had any visits up to this point. He had a 56.8 PFF blocking grade in 873 snaps with the Lions last year, missing time due to a knee injury. Baltimore lost their first- and second-string centers in Brazil last week and are looking to find help there.

Free agent G Kevin Zeitler visited the Packers on Tuesday.

The former All-Pro spent last year with the Titans and 2024 with the Lions. He’s been unsigned and had no visits to this point. The Packers, of course, are desperate to find better offensive line play. It makes some sense for them to turn to the 36-year-old.
