Dolphins WR Chris Bell (knee) was limited on Thursday.

The Dolphins’ ascending rookie wide receiver is on track to face the Vikings this week, although he continues to be limited by his surgically repaired knee. Bell should be viewed as a FLEX starter with an admittedly tough matchup against the Vikings.

Bell finished second on the team in targets but fourth in receiving yards. Caleb Douglas was finally healthy this week and stole the spotlight with 70 yards and two touchdowns despite seeing just three targets. After being held without a catch in back-to-back games, Bell’s modest Week 7 showing is still a step in the right direction. On the other hand, he simply isn’t seeing enough targets to be a weekly fantasy consideration right now. He should remain on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues this week.

Bell was targeted just twice on the day, catching neither target. He did see a carry on an end-around play, rushing for 26 yards on his sole touch of the game. He has ramped up to a starting receiver’s workload of snaps, ranking second among Dolphins receivers with 41 snaps. Though Bell is the field more, he has yet to be a key part of the Dolphins offense and will see less opportunities once Caleb Douglas (ankle) returns. Bell is best left on fantasy benches when the Dolphins come out of their Week 6 bye.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #18
He’ll be a FLEX dart throw against the Bengals. Bell continues to get listed with his knee injury as the Dolphins bring him along slowly, but he seems wheels up for Sundays as things currently stand.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #18
The Dolphins have been managing Bell’s practice reps for a few weeks, but it hasn’t been an issue on Sundays. He ran 85 percent of the routes in Week 4 and his route share has gone up in every game. He is in the WR5 range headed into Week 5 versus the Bengals.

Bell’s Week 4 outing was heartbreaking. His near-68-yard touchdown on the Dolphins’ third drive will live with him, and fantasy managers alike, for a while. Malik Willis rolled right out of the pocket, facing pressure and lobbed a wobbly pass to Bell downfield. The rookie wide receiver caught it, took off downfield, stumbled through a leg grab and ran into the end zone. Unfortunately, the officials determined Bell had stepped out of bounds, along the right sideline, during the scramble drill. Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley did not challenge it. Upon replay, one can make the case that his pinky toe’s shadow grazed the white line, but it was an awfully close call. Aside from that, Willis sent him a wobbly, incomplete overthrow beyond the sticks on the Dolphins’ first drive and later tried to force a fadeaway jumper to him 25 yards downfield. The pass was contested and fell incomplete. The talent is there. Despite the rough outing, Bell warrants FLEX consideration against the Saints in Week 5.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #18
Bell posted a 4/67 receiving line last week, though the Dolphins are still managing his reps. The Vikings’ blitz-based defense poses problems for Miami, limiting Bell to WR4 status this week. The rookie wide receiver should be rostered in 12-team formats.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #7
Douglas will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury, paving the way for fellow rookie Chris Bell to build on his Week 3 performance in which he went for 4-67-0 on eight targets. Bell and all Dolphins pass-catchers will be tough for fantasy managers to trust as anything more than WR4s on the road against a Vikings defense that could give them fits all afternoon.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #7
We expect to see Douglas listed with a second DNP next to his name today, putting him on the wrong side of questionable for Week 4 against the Vikings. Were he indeed to miss this week’s game, WRs Chris Bell (knee) and Malik Washington would benefit. Washington’s target volume is somewhat intriguing, but Bell looks like the far more talented player.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #18
Bell is coming off a career-best 4/67 stat line after having his practice reps managed last week. The Dolphins’ rookie wide receiver is on track to face the Vikings this week. He profiles as a WR4/FLEX in what is admittedly a tough matchup on paper.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #18
With Caleb Douglas sidelined with an ankle issue, talented third-rounder Bell finally broke out after totaling just one catch for 25 yards through the Dolphins’ first two contests. The No. 94 overall pick looked big and explosive with the ball in his hands, and could have had a much bigger day had Malik Willis been able to find him on what might have been a pair of long touchdowns. Bell’s box scores figure to remain inconsistent going forward — Willis is a dual-threat quarterback with a bevy of young, unproven wideouts — but he is certainly worth taking a flier on if currently un-rostered in your 12- team league. Bell’s pre-draft profile as a size/speed menace who only fell because of his torn ACL looked 100 percent accurate against the Chiefs.

Jacoby Brissett completed 27-of-48 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ 30-16, Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

Brissett struggled to get the deep ball going in this game and was largely stuck dinking and dunking his way down the field. He averaged a measly 5.7 yards per attempt while completing 56.3 percent of his passes. Brissett hasn’t averaged seven yards per attempt in a game since Week 1. Even worse is the fact that he’s taking bone-crushing hits more than ever. Brissett injured his non-throwing hand while taking a sack late in the second quarter but never missed any time with the issue. We expect him to make an appearance on the injury report this week. Head coach Mike LaFleur told reporters after the game that Brissett remains the starter, meaning he’ll take on a terrible Dallas defense next week. He will be a priority streamer for Week 8.

Kendrick Bourne caught 3-of-6 targets for nine yards in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

Bourne and Jalen Brooks each saw six targets, though neither was awfully productive. Brooks weny for 35 yards but only caught one pass. Bourne brought down half of his targets at a dreadful 1.5 yards per target. Bourne will hold a slight edge in the Week 8 rankings when Arizona takes on Dallas, but neither Arizona WR2 will be more than a desparation FLEX play.

Michael Wilson caught 4-of-8 targets for 55 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

Jacoby Brissett once again tried to get Wilson going downfield, but the best he could muster was 16 yards on their longest connection. Without a long play to juice the box score, Wilson was held under 10 PPR points for the third week in a row. All three of those games have been on the heels of the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade. The target totals have held steady, but the production is lacking. The good news for Wilson is that he gets the Cowboys in Week 8. Facing one of the league’s worst pass defenses, Wilson will stick in the WR2 ranks next week.

Trey McBride caught 10-of-13 targets for 111 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Broncos.

The Cardinals couldn’t get much going on offense, but that’s not a problem for McBride. He accounted for 27 percent of the team’s targets and was the only Cardinal to find the end zone on the day. McBride did so on a seven-yard strike from Brissett in the third quarter. Despite posting weekly TE1 numbers, this is McBride’s first 100-yard outing of the season. Facing a laughable Dallas defense next week, McBride will likely clock in as the TE1 overall in the weekly rankings.

Taylor Moton suffered a fractured fibula in the Panthers’ Week 7 loss to the Buccaneers.

Moton returned in Week 6 from offseason blood clot treatment but will now miss the remainder of the 2027 season after fracturing his fibula in the Week 7 loss to the Buccaneers. The Carolina offensive line depth takes another hit as they look to salvage a sinking season. Expect rookie Monroe Freeling to enter the starting lineup at left tackle.

Mike Washington, Jr. had six rushes for 27 yards in the Raiders’ Week 7 loss to the Rams.

As usual, Washington was far more efficient than lead back Ashton Jeanty, who had 15 yards on eight carries while catching eight passes for 61 yards and a touchdown. Washington can be stashed for now in case Jeanty misses time in the second half of the season. Washington likely won’t get the pass-catching work if Jeanty misses time, however.

Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 9-of-11 targets for 153 yards in the Lions’ Week 7 win over the Packers.

The Sun God didn’t find the end zone in this one, but he did rip off multiple big gains, which included plays of 28 and 40 yards on the Lions’ first two drives — both of which ended with points. St. Brown’s 11 targets led all Lions’ pass-catchers in this one, and his 153 receiving yards are good for the fifth-most he has had in any game in his career. It’s the first time in his career that ARSB has gone for 140-plus yards but failed to score a touchdown, but this was easily one of his best games to date this season. St. Brown hasn’t scored since Week 3’s game against the Jets, but he has gone for 69 or more yards in each of his last three games while seeing 11 targets in every outing. He continues to be as steady a fantasy asset there is at receiver, and will be in the WR1 mix in Week 8 against the Vikings.

Jameson Williams caught 5-of-9 targets for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the Lions’ Week 7 win over the Packers.

Williams wasted little time getting involved early in this one. On the Lions’ fifth play of the game, he ripped off a 24-yard gain to the ball to the Packers’ 16-yard line. On the next play, Williams came in motion and snuck out of the Lions’ backfield to turn a short pass into a 16-yard score, giving the Lions their first points of the day. Williams would find the end zone again in the third quarter on a 10-yard touchdown, and on the following drive, he nearly scored again were it not for a Packers defender knocking him out of the back of the end zone on a catch. Williams’ big-play ability was on display all night, as three of his five receptions went for 15-plus yards. Williams now has back-to-back two-touchdown performances to his name and has gone for 90-plus yards in two of his last three games. His volume continues to be inconsistent, but Williams is capable of breaking any game open at a moment’s notice. He will be a fringe WR2/WR2 in what could be a tough Week 8 matchup against the Vikings.
