Ashton Dulin (ankle) will play in Week 4 against the Commanders.

With Keenan Allen ruled out and Alec Pierce on IR, Dulin is now in line to be the Colts’ No. 2 receiver in his season debut. The passing attack will run through Josh Downs, putting him comfortably inside the WR2 ranks. Inactive for the Colts are WR Keenan Allen, WR Darius Slayton, RB DJ Giddens, QB Riley Leonard, EDGE George Gumbs, and OG Dalton Tucker.

Lane Johnson (personal) is questionable for Week 4 against the Rams.

Johnson missing Week 4 would be a truly calamitous outcome for Philly. They are already without DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert, both of whom were ruled out on Saturday. Losing their starting right tackle would be another blow the struggling offense didn’t need. Rookie Markel Bell will be the next man up if Johnson is ruled out.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes Josh Sweat is “a player that will be of interest ot a lot of teams” ahead of the trade deadline.

Schefter named Khalil Mack as another pass-rusher who could be on the move for similar reasons. Both players are productive veteran EDGE defenders on teams struggling to win games right now. Mack will be a free agent next offseason, making him an easy trade target. Sweat is under contract through 2028 but made it clear this offseason that he was unhappy in Arizona.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes Tony Pollard “fits the profile” of a player who could be traded ahead of the deadline.

Schefter didn’t cite any sources telling him that Pollard could be on the move, but he did connect a few key dots. Pollard is in the final year of his contract and the Titans are going nowhere fast. If they don’t plan on re-signing him next offseason, they might as well get something in return for him in the middle of another lost season. His departure would also clear the way for rookie Nick Singleton to see more work.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Jerry Jeudy “could be had” before the trade deadline.

With Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion earning large roles right away, Jeudy has all but vanished from the box scores. He went two games without catching a single pass before bringing down three balls for 36 yards on Thursday night. Jeudy got pushed out of the Browns’ long-term plans on draft night and isn’t even part of the week-to-week game plan at this point.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports teams are “doing their due diligence” on Marvin Harrison Jr.

Schefter noted that the Cardinals aren’t “enthralled” with the idea of trading Harrison Jr. He also said point-blank that “it would not be a surprise” for MHJ to be traded. As much as the Cardinals may not want to admit it, this experiment needs to come to an end. The team has Michael Wilson and Trey McBride locked up on long-term contracts and MHJ has done nothing this year. He has four catches for 73 scoreless yards this year. At this point, it’s likely in the best interest of both sides for Harrison Jr. to find a new home.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports “the hope is” that A.J. Brown (ankle) plays in Week 6.

Garfolo made it clear that this is what the team hopes will happen, but it’s far from a sure thing. Week 6 is the first week Brown is eligible to return from injured reserve. The Pats placed him on IR after he suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 1. Previous reports had Brown out for 6-8 weeks, so fantasy managers should be skeptical that he will be back for Week 6, but it’s at least on the table.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports Tanne McKee is the Eagles’ backup quarterback for Week 4 against the Rams.

The Eagles demoted Andy Dalton after his end zone interception in Week 3. He took over for Jalen Hurts while the latter was being evaluated for an injury and immediately gave the ball away in scoring position. McKee has two career starts since being drafted in 2023.

Marcus Mariota (knee) is questionable to return in Week 4 against the Colts.

Colts EDGE Laiatu Latu landed on Mariota’s right ankle while taking him down for a sack in the first quarter. Mariota was slow to get up and immediately made his way to the blue tent. He walked to the locker room after a brief stay in the tent. Seventh-round rookie Athan Kaliakmanis is under center for the Commanders.

NFL Network’s Mike Garfaolo reports DeVonta Smith (hamstring) is “at very best” questionable for Week 5 against the Jaguars.

Smith has already been ruled out for Week 4. The Eagles take on the Jags in London next week. It sounds like fantasy managers should be prepared to be without their start receiver for that contest as well. Dontayvion Wicks currently profiles as the team’s top wideout, but it’s hard to imagine the team not getting first-round rookie Makai Lemon more involved as well. Both players are solid FLEX options for Week 4.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Jadeveon Clowney (knee) is expected to play in Week 4 against the Cowboys.

Clowney hasn’t played since injuring his knee in Week 1. Though he isn’t expected to be a major factor in the Texans’ plans, Houston’s defense hasn’t been the shutdown unit that it was last year. They currently rank as a below-average team in EPA per play allowed. Clowney won’t change their fortunes overnight, but he will hopefully help them make incremental improvements.
