DJ Moore (shoulder) did not practice on Friday.

The Bills’ No. 1 wide receiver is on the wrong side of questionable for his team’s Monday Night Football game against the Rams. Moore sprained the AC joint in his left shoulder in Week 2. He aggravated it in Week 4 with a hard fall and was unable to continue playing. If active, Moore will be a risk-reward WR2.
Judkins' injury puts Sampson on fantasy radar
Kyle Dvorchak breaks down Quinshon Judkins’ uncertain Week 6 status and explains why Dylan Sampson could emerge as a risky fantasy flex option if activated.

Moore’s absence leaves only Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, Greg Dortch, and Skyler Bell as healthy wide receivers on the active roster with Joshua Palmer also sidelined. Expect heavy snap rates for Coleman and Shakir alongside tight end Dalton Kincaid, with the possibility the team elevates their 12-personnel rates through the inclusion of Dawson Knox. Also inactive for the Bills are WR Joshua Palmer, OL Jude Bowry, OL Ar’maj Reed-Adams, DL Ed Oliver DL, Landon Jackson, and NCB Dee Alford.

Moore failed to practice until Saturday after aggravating a shoulder injury in Week 4, returning to the field in a limited capacity while wearing a red non-contact jersey. That was apparently enough to keep the door open for an appearance on Monday Night Football against the Rams, although he certainly appears to be on the wrong side of the questionable tag. Fantasy managers would be wise to seek alternate options considering the timing of the game.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
This is the first time Moore has returned to the practice field after aggravating a shoulder injury in Week 4. Still no word on his game-day injury status, which will come later in the afternoon, but it a small step in the right direction for the veteran receiver. Fantasy managers likely want to continue the search for alternatives with the Bills playing on Monday Night Football.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Joe Brady is quoted as saying that if Moore feels he’s healthy enough to play, he “owes it to the WR to let him be out there.” It’s not exactly a quote that inspires a lot of confidence in Moore’s availability for Monday night’s matchup with the Rams after he left Week 4’s game due to landing on the shoulder. We would regard Moore as on the doubtful side of questionable at this point, but there’s time to turn that around on Friday and Saturday.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore landed on his left shoulder while trying to make the catch on a pass in the second quarter. It’s the same shoulder that he injured in the Week 2 win over the Lions. Obviously, the fact that it’s the same shoulder is not a great sign, as is Moore’s long injury history. We should get an update at halftime, but Keon Coleman figures to step into a larger role for the remainder of the game. Moore had just one catch for 11 yards before leaving with his injury.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
He’ll be good to go against the Christian Gonzalez-less Patriots. Moore is evidently still dealing with some soreness as he practiced in a non-contact jersey at points this week, but he’ll be a worthy WR2 in an elevated matchup.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore is again on track to play through his AC joint sprain, though the injury is still limiting him to some degree. Regardless, the Bills face the Patriots this weekend, and CB1 Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) has not yet practiced this week. Moore is a WR2 entering Week 4.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Moore played through the shoulder injury last week and managed to bring down 6-of-10 targets for 67 yards. He led the team in every notable receiving category. Even if he isn’t at full strength, Moore is locked in as a WR2 for Week 4 versus New England.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Despite being questionable coming into the day with a shoulder injury, Moore led the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards. He played 42 of the team’s 62 snaps and ran a route on 24 of the 33 dropbacks. That’s the highest share of any receiver on the team. The Bills weren’t able to hit many shots down the field, but Moore was the target on key conversions and is the clear top target in Buffalo. He will be a WR2 in a tough matchup against the Patriots next week.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #2
Both DJ Moore (shoulder) and Keon Coleman (ankle) were listed as questionable on the final injury report, but both of them will suit up to play. There’s a chance that they could have their snap share managed as they play through injuries, but we’d have to assume they’re both relatively healthy if the Bills are going to put both of them on the field in an early-season matchup. You may just see a little more Khalil Shakir and Josh Palmer usage than normal. Moore remains the receiver with the most fantasy upside and could be a low-end WR2 with Shakir also being a solid WR3 in PPR formats given his role as a lower aDOT target-earner.

Carson Schwesinger (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Mason Graham is expected to miss multiple weeks with an ankle injury of his own and Maliek Collins missed today’s practice with a foot injury. That’s three front-seven starters potentially out for Week 6. With Lamar Jackson still banged up, expect the Ravens to give Derrick Henry all the touches he can handle this week.

Denzel Boston (foot) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

A limited practice to start the week is usually nothing more than maintenance. Boston should still be a safe bet to suit up on Sunday. The second-round rookie has already cemented himself as an impressive downfield threat with three touchdowns and three catches of 40+ yards. He’s managed several spike weeks despite the Browns’ up-and-down performances on offense. Health permitting, Boston will be a low-end WR3 for Week 6 versus Baltimore.

Tytus Howard (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

The Browns acquired Howard from Houston in the offseason. Howard left Week 5 with the knee issue and a DNP today suggests he will miss at least one week. Dawand Jones took his spot in the lineup on Sunday and would presumably draw the start at right tackle if Howard is out.

Cam Jurgens (concussion) was limited on Wednesday.

The Ravens’ new starting center is still recovering from his recent concussion, but he seemingly has a chance to face the Browns this week. Ravens EDGE Trey Hendrickson (finger) and S Kyle Hamilton (stinger) are practicing fully, while RT Roger Rosengarten (knee), OG John Simpson (groin), OG Andrew Vorhees (foot), LT Ronnie Stanley (rest/toe/ankle) and CB Marlon Humphrey (hamstring/calf) were limited.

Dylan Sampson (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

The Browns opened Sampson’s practice window today, so it’s a bit odd to see him sit out of the session entirely. They were likely giving Sampson the option to suit up even though he may not be fully ready to return. With Quinshon Judkins injured and Raheim Sanders on IR, the Browns are clearly desperate at running back. If Sampson doesn’t play on Sunday, the backfield will be split between Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime. This is likely a fantasy situation to avoid at all costs.

Ja’Kobi Lane (wrist) is practicing in full for Week 6 against the Browns.

Earlier today, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported that Lane has “a shot” to face the Browns in Week 6. His full participation furthers that notion. The talented rookie drew rave reports all summer before suffering an unfortunate wrist fracture in Week 1. While he makes for a dicey FLEX if Tyler Huntley is under center, Lane should at least be safely stashed on fantasy football benches in 12-team formats.

Darnell Mooney (neck) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

He still has multiple practices left to improve his status. If Mooney were to miss time, Malachi Fields, who is tied with him for third on the team in targets, could see his role expand, though target volume could be limited behind Isaiah Likely and Malik Nabers.

CeeDee Lamb (quad) is practicing in full for Week 6 against the Packers.

Lamb played through a quad bruise last week but exacerbated the issue and left the game late in the fourth quarter. The injury is not believed to be serious and a full practice today means Lamb isn’t at risk of missing Week 6. Despite burning fantasy managers with two catches for nine yards last time around, Lamb remains one of the best fantasy football wideouts in play this week.

Josh Downs (hamstring/rest) was limited on Wednesday.

Typically, rest days are entirely inconsequential. Recently, the Colts listed Keenan Allen with a rest designation on Wednesday. He picked up a groin injury during the practice week, and although they added the groin injury to the injury report, they kept the rest designation on there as well. He didn’t play. Downs could end up being perfectly fine, but given the Colts’ recent handling of a similar situation, his participation levels on Thursday and Friday are worth monitoring.

Daniel Jones (ankle) is practicing in full for Week 6 against the Titans.

A full practice today means Jones will play through the issue in Week 6, but it’s never a good sign to see a starting quarterback unexpectedly pop up on the injury report. Jones has also struggled mightily this year, so the last thing he needs is a lingering ankle issue, even if it’s a minor one. Needless to say, we aren’t itching to get Jones in our fantasy lineups in a low-scoring affair with the Titans. He is buried at the back of the QB2 ranks for Week 6.
