Eagles placed S Colt Anderson on injured reserve with a torn left ACL, ending his season.
One of the Eagles’ core special teamers, Anderson was considered to be playing at a Pro Bowl level before going down. Under contract for $490,000 next season, Anderson is likely to be kept around in Philly, but may begin 2012 on the PUP list. Still just 26 years old, he should be able to make close to a full recovery.
