The St. Paul Pioneer-Press and NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora both confirm ESPN 1500 Twin Cities’ account that Parcells will not be joining the Vikings. Owner Zygi Wilf has been a fan of the Big Tuna dating back to the dominant 1980s Giants squads, but the rebuilding Vikings have little appeal to a 71-year-old coach. The Saints are “still in the mix,” reports LaCanfora. The original New York Post report screams of a leverage ploy by Parcells to squeeze more money out of New Orleans.

The words “extension of the running game” come to mind looking at that line. And while it was mostly true, Meyers managed a ridiculous catch to bail Jacksonville out of third-and-long near the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter. It cut the distance to a reasonable fourth-and-short that Trevor Lawrence would convert with a quarterback sneak. Meyers will be on the WR2 line in a must-win game for the Jaguars against the Titans in Week 18 to sew up the division title.

Dulcich was the Dolphins’ leading target-getter against the Bucs, doing all of his damage in the first half. He scored an 11-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter and did not record a catch in the second half. Dulcich also added a carry in the red zone that went for a loss of seven yards. He has worked ahead of Darren Waller at the tight end spot for the last week weeks, with Waller catching just one pass for no gain in Week 17. The Dolphins offense will undergo changes heading into next season, but Dulcich is a viable fantasy TE2 for those still playing fantasy games in Week 18.

Hall was in line for yet another quiet day, but a 59-yard touchdown sprint at the top of the fourth quarter rewarded fantasy managers who stuck with him into the championship round. It was the Jets’ only touchdown of the day and one of their only explosive plays at all. Hall banged his knee on the ground a few players later and was listed as quesitonable to return. The game was almost over on the clock and long been decided via the scoreboard, so Hall did not return. He told reporters after the game he was fine. With nothing left to play for in Week 18, it’s posssible Hall, who has been palying through a knee issue for most of the year, gets the week off. Fantasy managers who partake in Week 18 festivities will want to keep an eye on the Jets’ injury report this coming week.

The highlight was a downfield catch where he noticed a Colts defender overpursuing on the third level, reversed field, and almost found the end zone. He out-targeted all other Jags receivers in the red zone with two, catching one of the balls for two yards. Washington feels like he’s operating at a WR2 level heading into Week 18’s game against the Titans. The Jaguars can clinch the AFC South with a win, so we expect another real chance at a 100-yard game.

Thomas has become reliant on deep plays, making him an inconsistent fantasy weapon while Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers go off. It’s not how we’d use him, but the Jaguars do not care as long as they keep winning. Trevor Lawrence missed him on an open deep shot in the second half. Thomas briefly left the game around halftime to be checked for an ankle injury, but played through it. Don’t be surprised if he pops up on the injury report ahead of Week 18, but Thomas will be a startable WR3 against the Titans.

Waddle had just one carry for seven yards before heading to the locker room with a rib injury in the second quarter. By the time he returned to the game, the Dolphins had the lead and Waddle saw just one target upon his return. He finishes with a mere 0.7 PPR fantasy points. Waddle has had a rollercoaster season with 64 receptions for 910 yards and six touchdowns amidst a tumultuous offense and a quarterback transition to Quinn Ewers. He is the Dolphins’ WR1 heading into Week 18 against the Patriots and will finish the season as high-end fantasy WR3.

It was his first touchdown of the season. FOX did not have a graphic of the 32-year-old veteran. He’ll be a free agent this offseason. Fantasy managers need not chase the hot hand here.

Sanders drew the start in Sunday’s win over the Steelers, and handled six of his eight carries on the Browns’ first three possessions. His longest gain of the day came on a six-yard plunge on the first play of the game, and he also added a 10-yard reception in the fourth quarter. If Sanders finds himself in another split with Dylan Sampson next week, both backs will be hard to trust in Week 18 against the Bengals.

It was his first time over 40 yards since Week 12. Warren managed a bunch of short-area contested catches, but wasn’t targeted in the red zone. It’s been a disappointing second half of the season for Warren, who has 171 yards in six games since returning to American soil after the win in Germany. He’ll be a TE2 play against the Texans in Week 18 if the Colts want to keep playing him.
