Falcons signed third-round DT Deadrin Senat to a four-year contract.
Senat (6’0/314) tested as a 13th-percentile SPARQ athlete, but his game tape shows a persistent disruptor. Senat may max out as a two-down run stopper in the pros, but he has a high floor. The Falcons needed a space eater next to three-technique DT Grady Jarrett.

The Athletic’s Nate Atkins reports free agent QB Jimmy Garoppolo is “weighing a few options.”
Garoppolo was linked to the Dolphins and Cardinals in early March, but both teams have brought new quarterbacks aboard since then. Per Atkins, the Rams’ “sights for a backup” have refocused on Garoppolo, now that the Raiders have signed QB Kirk Cousins. The Rams would reportedly “really would like an experienced former starter in that role.” Garoppolo spent the last two seasons in said role and turns 35 in November.
Cousins may start a few games for Raiders in 2026
Patrick Daugherty and Kyle Dvorchak break down what the Raider's reported contract with Kirk Cousins says about his potential role on the team next season.
  • LV Quarterback #18
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport believes Raiders QB Kirk Cousins “likely will be starting games for them in 2026.”
The Raiders’ presumed No. 1 overall pick, Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza, could end up challenging Cousins for the starting role this summer. For now, it appears as though Cousins is penciled in to break the huddle in Week 1. Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak prefaced today’s signing by publicly explaining the value in allowing a young quarterback to develop on the bench. If the Raiders add more offensive weapons via the 2026 NFL Draft, free agency and trades, Cousins could warrant matchup-based consideration as a fantasy starter.
  • Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer believes the team is set up to draft “the best player available” in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Cowboys possess the 12th and 20th overall selections. They field an elite offense and a defense that could use more personnel upgrades, having allowed the most points in the NFL last season. The front office traded for EDGE Rashan Gary, and signed S Jalen Thompson and DT Otito Ogbonnia thus far this offseason, but the unit still has more needs. Regardless, Schottenheimer said that “if the best player on the board is clearly an offensive player, then we’ll certainly discuss that, and more than likely” draft that player, knowing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The Cowboys’ offense is already set up for fantasy success, but adding another capable offensive lineman and/or another pass catcher can only help QB Dak Prescott put up points.
  • FA Defensive Tackle
ESPN’s Ryan McFadden reports Duke DT Josiah Green is “a name to monitor” for the Raiders.
Per McFadden, Green met with Raiders representatives after his impressive Pro Day showing last week. Green performed very well in the speed, agility and jumping drills. He also tied the Duke Pro Day bench press record with 36 reps. The Raiders representatives expressed their “love for his athleticism” during the meeting. He has also reportedly met with the Eagles, Bears, Steelers and Packers. Green spent 2022-2024 playing at Dartmouth before joining the Blue Devils last year. In 2025, he totaled 30 combined tackles, 11 solo tackles, four TFLs, 22 quarterback pressures and four sacks.
  • CLE General Manager
Browns general manager Andrew Berry “acknowledged that he’ll continue to look for opportunities to trade down” from the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Berry frequently trades back on, or before, draft day, so this is hardly surprising. Berry adds that if the Browns do end up keeping the pick, he has “no idea what we’re going to take at this point.” The Browns also possess the 24th and 39th picks this year. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe previously reported that the Browns will likely try to “supplement the offense” by drafting a left tackle and a wide receiver early this season, before “maybe” drafting a quarterback next year. The roster has many needs and the front office is apparently considering a two-year turnaround, though QBs Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson will get a chance to prove themselves this year. That said, the more picks, the better.
  • NE Cornerback
Stephon Gilmore retired after 13 seasons in the NFL.
The Bills drafted Gilmore with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He remained in Buffalo until 2017, when he signed with the Patriots in free agency. Gilmore enjoyed the best seasons of his career in New England, winning Super Bowl LII in 2018. He earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2018 and 2019, and co-led the NFL in interceptions while also winning NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2019. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2016 and 2018-2021. He spent one-year stints with the Panthers, Colts, Cowboys and Vikings from 2021-2024. Gilmore logged 149 passes defended, 32 interceptions, 617 combined tackles and one sack in his NFL career.
  • FA Kicker (FG)
The Eagles, Commanders, Falcons and 49ers have shown “extensive interest” in Houston K Ethan Sanchez.
Sanchez was a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award last year, which is given to college football’s top kicker. He recently had an hour-long phone call with the Eagles and also met with them privately after Houston’s Pro Day. Sanchez is scheduled to attend the Falcons’ local day as well. He spent his first three college seasons kicking for Old Dominion and spent his fourth and final college season at Houston. He converted 20-of-25 field goals during the regular season and 38-of-38 extra point attempts. He could be K1-viable as a rookie via any one of these four potential landing spots.
  • FA Wide Receiver
ESPN’s Jordan Reid reports that the Panthers will host Indiana WR Omar Cooper Jr. for a top-30 visit.
Across the 2025 college football regular season, Cooper outright led, or tied for the team-high, all Hoosiers pass catchers with 75 targets, 58 receptions, 804 yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging 2.68 yards per route run. Per Reid, Cooper could be an option for the Panthers with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
  • IND Linebacker #3
Anthony Walker Jr. retired after nine seasons in the NFL.
The former fifth-round pick enjoyed a successful playing career. Walker spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Colts after being drafted in 2017. From 2021 to 2023, Walker signed three one-year deals with the Browns and, unfortunately, spent time on injured reserve in all three campaigns. He played for the Dolphins in 2024 and the Buccaneers in 2025. Across his nine-year career, Walker totaled 581 combined tackles, 362 solo tackles, 5.5 sacks and four interceptions.
  • FA Quarterback
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders will host Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza for a top-30 visit on Tuesday.
Thanks to a prior report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, we knew this visit would take place sometime next week. Now, we know the day. The Raiders are widely expected to draft Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick later this month. Mendoza led the Hoosiers to a CFP National Championship victory in his final season, while also leading college football with 41 passing touchdowns. Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak believes sitting a young quarterback behind a veteran quarterback, to “watch how they run the show,” is helpful for the young player’s development, and the Raiders signed veteran QB Kirk Cousins earlier today. Next Tuesday’s visit could give Mendoza and Cousins a chance to begin developing rapport. Unless something goes awry, they will be coworkers before long.
