Washington selected Brigham Young WR Dax Milne with the No. 258 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Milne (6'1/195) bet on himself as a walk-on at BYU and eventually became Zach Wilson’s favorite target, going from 21/285/2 as the team’s primary slot receiver in 2019 to breaking out for 70/1,188/8 on a career-high in snaps from out wide (78%) in 2020. Milne tore up weaker corners with speed in his final year but, having recorded an underwhelming 4.54 40 at Brigham Young’s pro day, won’t be able to at the next level. Per The Athletic’s Dane Brugler, Milne projects best in the slot similar to Hunter Renfrow.
