Packers LG Jon Runyan (illness) is questionable to return in Week 9 against the Chiefs.
Runyan left the game in the second quarter and did not return before halftime. The 2020 sixth round pick is graded by Pro Football Focus as the Packers’ worst run blocking offensive lineman this year. Jake Hanson has taken over for Runyan at left guard.

Jim Harbaugh told reporters that Justin Herbert suffered a leg contusion in Week 14 against the Chiefs.
The Athletic’s Daniel Popper reports “Herbert said he thinks he took a helmet to the knee on the play” and observed Herbert “walking with a slight limp in the locker room” post-game. Herbert remained down for some time after taking a big hit and briefly spent time on the sideline, chatting with Harbaugh before jogging around on the injured leg. Herbert appears to have escaped Week 14 without a serious injury and should be good to go against the Buccaneers in Week 15.
  • KC Wide Receiver #9
JuJu Smith-Schuster caught both targets for 31 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 14 win over the Chargers.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes targeted nine different pass-catchers with his 37 pass attempts, leaving only DeAndre Hopkins to see more than a modest six looks. Either way, the addition of Hopkins has pushed Smith-Schuster down the pecking order for targets in a highly unconcentrated offense, leaving very little meat on the fantasy bone the rest of the way.
  • KC Wide Receiver #8
DeAndre Hopkins caught 4-of-9 targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ Week 14 win over the Chargers.
Hopkins caught a second quarter touchdown to send the Chiefs into the break up 13-0. The Chargers then mounted a spirited comeback in the third frame when they scored 14 unanswered points, eventually resulting in traded field goals in the fourth. Hopkins could have had a much bigger fantasy outing had he come down with any of the three deep targets on the evening, most notably failing to haul in a deep pass from Patrick Mahomes on the team’s final drive that was in his hands but dislodged by a vicious hit down the left sideline. Even so, Hopkins continues to lead an unconcentrated pass-catching corps that could catch fire down the stretch as they prepare for the postseason. Up next for Hopkins and the Chiefs are the Browns in Week 15.
  • KC Wide Receiver #1
Xavier Worthy caught 5-of-6 targets for 41 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 14 win over the Chargers, adding five yards on his lone carry.
Worthy had a rather pedestrian fantasy outing against the stout Chargers defense, particularly considering quarterback Patrick Mahomes attempted a robust 37 passes. Nine Kansas City pass-catchers were targeted by Mahomes, leaving only DeAndre Hopkins with more than the six targets seen by Worthy. Worthy’s next chance to return a usable fantasy score comes in Week 15 when the Chiefs take on the Browns.
  • KC Tight End #87
Travis Kelce caught 5-of-6 targets for 45 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 14 win over the Chargers.
The volume and production surely left fantasy managers clamoring for more, but the veteran tight end made his presence felt when he connected with quarterback Patrick Mahomes on a bootleg on third-and-seven with two minutes remaining to allow the Chiefs to run down the clock and kick a game-winning field goal as time expired. The Chiefs somehow managed another dramatic finish as the kick hit the left upright and ultimately found its way through to clinch the AFC West division. Kelce could be busier when the Chiefs travel to Cleveland to face the Browns in Week 15.
  • KC Running Back #29
Kareem Hunt rushed five times for 16 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 14 win over the Chargers, adding 13 yards on his lone reception.
Hunt saw his snap rate and opportunities nerfed as Isiah Pacheco returned to a lead back role in his second game back from injury for the Chiefs. Pacheco’s 14 carries and four targets trumped the workload of Hunt, the latter of whom is now a clear change of pace option in Kansas City. Up next are the up-and-down Browns in Week 15.
  • KC Running Back #10
Isiah Pacheco rushed 14 times for 55 yards in the Chiefs’ Week 14 win over the Chargers, adding six yards on two receptions.
Pacheco handily led the team in backfield snaps and opportunities for the first time since returning from a gruesome ankle injury, notching 18 opportunities to the six of Kareem Hunt. The 3.9 yard per carry were not what we’ve grown accustomed to from Pacheco but the matchup against the Chargers was a difficult one on the ground, meaning he could find himself back in trusted RB2 territory when the Chiefs play the Browns in Week 15.
  • KC Quarterback #15
Patrick Mahomes completed 24-of-37 passes for 210 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs’ 19-17, Week 14 win over the Chargers, adding 17 yards on four carries.
The Chiefs took a 13-0 lead into the half after the two teams both struggled to move the football consistently during the first two quarters. The Chargers then owned the third quarter, rattling off 14 unanswered points to take a 14-13 lead into the fourth quarter. Alternating field goals left Kansas City down by one point with the football and just over five minutes on the clock, which is when Mahomes took over the game. He led the team down the field, notably converting a third-and-seven with two minutes remaining deep in Chargers territory, allowing the team to take knees to run down the clock and kick the game-winning field goal as time expired. Even the kick brought more drama as it hit the upright but found its way through to lock up the AFC West for the Chiefs, who now have a two-game lead over the Bills for the one-seed after the latter lost today. Mahomes and the Chiefs travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns in Week 15.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #1
Quentin Johnston caught 5-of-7 targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers’ Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.
Johnston now has seven touchdowns on just 28 receptions this season, clearly operating as a primary option for the Chargers in the red zone. He made a couple nice grabs in this one as well, notably hanging onto a catch on third down in the second half while being walloped by two Kansas City defenders over the middle of the field. Johnston remains unlikely to see consistent volume considering his seven targets came with rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey out and tight end Will Dissly departing before the half. Up next for Johnston and the Chargers are the Buccaneers in Week 15 at home.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #5
Joshua Palmer caught 6-of-9 targets for 78 yards in the Chargers’ Week 14 loss to the Chiefs.
Palmer made a few nice grabs for a team starved of its top two pass-catchers. Rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey was held out with shoulder and knee injuries while lead tight end Will Dissly departed before the half after just two receptions, leaving Palmer to primary pass-catching duties. Fantasy managers in league playoffs will want to monitor the respective statuses of McConkey and Dissly before making the decision on whether to add Palmer for a game against the Buccaneers in Week 15.
