Eastern Michigan senior QB Ben Bryant completed 13-of-23 passes for 156 yards in a 22-21 victory over Western Michigan on Tuesday night.
Tuesday night was not a great night for Bryant (6'3/218). He wasn’t able to push the ball down the field, but took what was given to him in the short/intermediate game. Luckily for the Eagles, Bryant wasn’t asked to do much, as they ran for a whopping 247 yards on the ground. Down five points late in the game, Bryant was efficient, completing five-of-seven passes on a 14-play drive that resulted in a field goal. With a win next Friday over Central Michigan, the Eagles have an outside shot to make the MAC Title Game if they get some help.
