UCLA redshirt senior RB Brittain Brown was not practicing on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s game against USC.
Mike Regalado of 247Sports.com reported that Brown (6'1/205) was not practicing on Wednesday and that he was seen sporting a, “black numbered t-shirt.” While head coach Chip Kelly has not shared what the black t-shirts mean in regards to a player’s status, Regalado shared that patterns have shown throughout the season that players wearing black t-shirts tend to be those with long-term injuries. Brown missing time would be significant for UCLA, as the redshirt senior has rushed for 616 yards and seven touchdowns on the season, which is second on the team behind running back Zach Charbonnet. This injury will be one to monitor, although Chip Kelly may not give us as much as we’d like to know ahead of Saturday’s game.
