Broncos signed EDGE Malik Fisher to an undisclosed contract.
The report comes from NBC Houston’s Aaron Wilson. Fisher spent the 2023 and 2024 UFL seasons playing defensive line for the D.C. Defenders, initially rushing the passer as a defensive tackle before moving to the edge the following year. He played well in both roles, producing a 10.8 percent pass-rush win rate in 2023, third among 39 UFL interior defenders with at least 150 pass-rushing snaps, and tied for second in sacks (seven) in 2024, ranked among 25 edge rushers with at least 150 pass-rush snaps.
  • FA Kicker #18

    Jets waived K Anders Carlson.
New York parted ways with Carlson and signed K Harrison Mevis as they look for a starter headed into training camp. Carlson, who signed with the team last November and continued to struggle. He made eight of ten field goal tries and nine of 11 extra points over five games with the Jets in 2024. Carlson, who lost his starting job in Green Bay before coming to New York, will likely catch on with another team this summer.
'Not much competition' for Jets WR2 job
Patrick Daugherty and Denny Carter evaluate the New York Jets' wide receiver corps behind Garrett Wilson and rattle off names of pass-catchers who could compete with Josh Reynolds for the WR2 role.
  • NE Running Back
The Athletic’s Chad Graff reports “it’s still unknown” whether TreVeyon Henderson “can be a true bell-cow back instead of just a good third-down back.”
Graff said Henderson has been by far the most explosive Patriots offensive player in offseason practices, adding that the rookie’s “development as a runner between the tackles will go a long way toward determining his success.” Graff said Henderson, the 38th pick in the 2025 draft, “probably won’t have to do a ton of [between the tackles running], particularly if Stevenson gets the majority of the early-down carries. But for this draft pick to be worth it, Henderson needs to improve as a between-the-tackles rusher as he presumably takes on a bigger role in the years to come.” Even if Henderson doesn’t take on a three-down role in the New England offense, he should have every chance to usurp Stevenson — one of the league’s least efficient rushers — as the team’s primary back in 2025.
  • LAR Running Back #23
Rams coach Sean McVay said the team has “made progress” on a contract extension for Kyren Williams.
This is not all that different than late May’s update that McVay gave when he said the Rams were making “healthy and positive progress” on said extension. Williams will likely sign an extension later this summer if the tenor of the two parties is to be believed at this point.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Lamar Jackson said “I don’t want to talk about it,” when asked about contract talks with the Ravens.
He did respond to a media member saying John Harbaugh’s idea of Jackson being the NFL’s highest-paid player by noting “it sounds good.” It’s not thoroughly surprising that Jackson is not forthcoming about the status of negotiations with the Ravens. We expect the sides will continue to negotiate as the offseason drags on, and all sourced reporting indicates that they should reach agreement at some point.
  • ATL Running Back #35
    Falcons signed RB Jashaun Corbin.
Corbin, 24, led the UFL in rushing in 2025 with 514 yards. Corbin has bounced around between the Giants and Panthers the previous two seasons after coming out in the 2022 class. He went undrafted. Corbin figures to be a deep backup who won’t be worthy of fantasy attention without several injuries in front of him. To make room, the Falcons waived RB Jase McClellan, who the team drafted in the sixth round last year. McClellan had just 19 offensive snaps in his rookie season and was only active for two games.
  • LV Tight End #87
ESPN’s Ryan McFadden believes Raiders TE Michael Mayer “could make a jump” in 2025.
The third-year tight end missed several games last season due to a personal issue and spent the offseason being a rumored trade target. Mayer obviously won’t cut deeply into Brock Bowers’ snap share, but he has a chance to cut into Tre Tucker and Jack Bech’s playing time if the Raiders feel that Mayer is one of their best eleven. “I think Mike’s been outstanding,” Raiders OC Chip Kelly told reporters before noting that “I checked, you can play with two tight ends in a game at the same time, and sometimes you can play with three tight ends they told me. So, maybe we can get to that if we have to.”
  • KC Tackle #74
The Athletic’s Michael Silver believes Chiefs RT Jawaan Taylor could be a backup in 2025.
With the Chiefs drafting Josh Simmons in the first round in April, Silver believes Simmons has a chance to take a starting job away from Taylor this offseason. Our last two blurbs on Taylor are “Taylor could be a backup” and “Taylor’s odds of being on the 2026 roster are not high,” which is never the trend you want to see when you have a $27.3 million cap hit in 2026. It appears the Chiefs are ready to wash their hands of Taylor’s contract sooner rather than later.
  • MIN Offensive Coordinator
Vikings signed OC Wes Phillips to a one-year extension.
His deal was set to expire after the 2025 season, but Phillips tacks another year on to it. The 46-year-old was not a hot coaching candidate at any point this offseason and does not call plays on game day. Perhaps another year in the Kevin O’Connell halo — particularly one that paints J.J. McCarthy in a great light — will help Phillips gain some head-coaching interviews next offseason.
  • The Athletic’s Joseph Person believes that the “early returns” favor Ryan Fitzgerald in Carolina’s kicking competition.
Yes, we’re that deep in the offseason bag. Person writes that Fitzgerald went 9-for-10 on field goals on the skinny goal posts towards the end of the practice sessions open to the media, while Wright missed both of his longer attempts last Wednesday. Dave Canales is quoted as saying “Let’s have them kicking in games, and we’ll be able to make the decision.” But for those of you drafting now or soon in leagues where you absolutely must consider who Carolina’s kicker is, here you go.
  • NE Wide Receiver
The Athletic’s Chad Graff believes it’s “not hyperbole” to say “no player did more to improve his standing on the [Patriots] depth chart than Efton Chism” this spring.
Stop us if you’ve heard this story before, but an unheralded and undersized slot wideout is turning heads in New England’s camp. Chism has head coach praise quotes (Mike Vrabel praised the 23-year-old as “a talented player” who is dedicated and “studied extremely hard”) and looked good in the team’s early offseason OTAs and camps. New England’s wideout room has enough depth that we’re hesitant to say Chism is even a lock to make the roster, but he’s someone to monitor as we look forward to training camps in August.
