  • DAL EDGE #54
Cowboys EDGE Sam Williams suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season.
An MRI confirmed the worst for Williams, who left Sunday’s practice with a knee injury. The Cowboys drafted Williams 56th overall in 2022. Through his first two years in the league, Williams has totaled 8.5 sacks and appeared poised for a breakout season this year. It’s a brutal blow for Williams and the Cowboys, who will likely be looking to add a pass rusher to the roster in the coming days.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #80
Commanders declared WR Jamison Crowder, CB Emmanuel Forbes, DE Jamin Davis, G Chris Paul, ILB Dominique Hampton, S Darrick Forrest, and QB Sam Hartman inactive for Week 2 against the Giants.
Crowder signed a one-year deal with Washington in the offseason but is currently buried on the depth chart. Luke McCaffrey will continue to get the bulk of the slot reps for Washington.
  • DET Wide Receiver #9
Jameson Williams (ankle) is active for Week 2’s matchup against the Buccaneers.
  • SF Quarterback #5
49ers declared QB Josh Dobbs, S Talanoa Hufanga, CB Darrell Luter ,LB Dee Winters, and OL Ben Bartch inactive for Week 2 against the Vikings.
Besides Christian McCaffrey (calf, Achilles) landing on injured reserve this week, the Niners go into Week 2 as one of the league’s healthiest teams. Brandon Allen will continue to back up Brock Purdy in Week 2.
  • DET Defensive End #92
Lions declared DL Marcus Davenport, S Ifeatu Melifonwu, WR Isaiah Williams, CB Ennis Rakestraw Jr., LV Trevor Nowaske, T Giovani Manu, and OL Colby Sorsdal inactive for Week 2 against the Buccaneers.
  • NYG Quarterback #15
Giants declared QB Tommy DeVito, CB Nick McCloud, LB Darius Muasau, S Anthony Johnson Jr., OL Jake Kubas, and OLB Boogie Basham inactive for Week 2 against the Commanders.
DeVito is designated as the third quarterback, so he would be eligible to enter the game if Daniel Jones and backup Drew Lock get hurt. Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton are both good to go after briefly appearing on the injury report earlier this week.
  • DAL Quarterback #19
Cowboys declared TE Jake Ferguson, QB Trey Lance, CB Andrew Booth, LB Buddy Johnson, WR Ryan Flournoy, TE John Stephens Jr., and OT Matt Waletzko inactive for Week 2 against the Saints.
The Cowboys’ inactives look similar to last week, with Ferguson joining the group due to a knee injury. He was doubtful to play heading into the day and is officially out against the Saints. Lance will be the team’s emergency third quarterback, but Cooper Rush is the immediate backup to Dak Prescott.
  • BAL Linebacker #53
Ravens LB Kyle Van Noy (eye) is active for Week 2 against the Raiders.
Van Noy suffered an orbital bone fracture in Week 1 but returned to practice on Friday and is ready to go for Week 1. Inactive for the Ravens are CB Nate Wiggins, OLB Adisa Isaac, OL Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, S Beau Brade, C Nick Samac, CB T.J. Tampa, and WR Devontez Walker.
  • Buccaneers declared S Antoine Winfield Jr., DB Josh Hayes, OLB Jose Ramirez, DL Ben Stille, T Luke Goedeke, TE Devin Culp, and DL Calijah Kancey inactive for Week 2 against the Lions.
  • NE Wide Receiver #9
Patriots declared WR Kayshon Boutte, LB Curtis Jacobs, QB Joe Milton III, OT Demontrey Jacobs, and G Sidy Sow inactive for Week 2 against the Seahawks.
  • LV Running Back #23
Raiders declared RB Dylan Laube, DE Tyree Wilson, CB Decamerion Richardson, OL Jackson Powers-Johnson, WR Tyreik McAllister, WR Ramel Keyton, and S Thomas Harper inactive for Week 2 against the Ravens.
Laube remains a healthy scratch while fellow rookie Jackson Powers-Johnson is dealing with an illness. Alexander Mattison will continue to handle the bulk of the passing downs reps for Las Vegas.
