Colts hired Lou Anarumo, formerly of the Bengals, as defensive coordinator.
Anarumo’s defensive implosion last season wasn’t enough to keep teams away this offseason. Once considered a potential head coaching candidate, the veteran coordinator saw his defense rank 25th in points and yards allowed per game last season, as their inability to keep points off the board proved to be enough to keep the Bengals out of the postseason despite MVP-caliber play from Joe Burrow. During his six seasons with the Bengals, Anarumo’s defense never ranked higher than 16th in yards allowed and ranked inside the top 15 only once in points allowed per game. Now, he’ll be tasked with taking over a Colts defense that’s ranked among the league’s worst for three straight seasons. It’s easy to argue that Anarumo was never given enough talent in Cincinnati to make him successful, but it’s also fair to wonder if the Colts will give him the players he needs to help them turn a corner.
  • PIT Quarterback #8

Aaron Rodgers completed 23-of-34 attempts for 284 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers’ Week 14 win against the Ravens.
Rodgers was far more aggressive than usual in their big Week 14 win over the fading Ravens, pushing the ball downfield throughout and using DK Metcalf as a deep threat for the first time in 2025. Metcalf went for 148 yards on a team-leading 12 targets, and Rodgers’ 8.5 yards per attempt was well over his season-long rate of 6.7, the lowest of his NFL career.
Gibbs can unseat CMC, Taylor as fantasy's top RB
Kyle Dvorchak discusses Jahmyr Gibbs' massive game against the Cowboys on Thursday night, sharing why the dual-threat back appears poised to finish be fantasy's top overall running back to finish out the year.
  • NYJ Quarterback #4
Brady Cook completed 14-of-30 passes for 163 yards and two interceptions in the Jets’ 34-10, Week 14 loss to the Dolphins.
Cook had a whirlwind of a week, getting signed to the active roster from the practice squad with Justin Fields (knee) out this week. Tyrod Taylor completed 1-of-4 passes for six yards and an interception before exiting due to a groin injury. Cook came in for his NFL debut and predictably struggled throughout the game. He threw two interceptions, both in the red zone and both towards the end of each half. Cook is not a better quarterback option than Taylor or Fields, but may get another start in Week 15 against the Jaguars if both remain out with their respective injuries. Cook is barely a fantasy QB3 option.
  • IND Quarterback #15
Riley Leonard completed 18-of-29 passes for 145 yards and an interception in the Colts’ 20-16, Week 14 loss to the Jaguars.
He rushed for a six-yard touchdown in garbage time. It honestly wasn’t as bad as the stat line looked. He took just one sack (though it was a safety that required a replay review), his interception was straight up taken away from Michael Pittman in traffic, and he would have added a receiving touchdown to Alec Pierce had the replay booth not intervened against him again. That said, Leonard is likely going to be a major downgrade from Daniel Jones and superflex leagues probably don’t need to bank on him surviving a Week 15 date with the Seahawks as a QB2 option with nobody on bye.
  • JAC Quarterback #16
Trevor Lawrence completed 17-of-30 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns in the Jaguars’ 36-19, Week 14 win over the Colts.
He was benched for Jacksonville’s last two series with an insurmountable lead. Lawrence had a couple of great throws to Brian Thomas Jr. downfield, but his best throw came with the Colts sending a big blitz on third-down. Lawrence saw the blitz and backpedaled to the sideline to buy enough time to find Tim Patrick and keep the drive alive. The Jaguars seized control of the AFC South lead with the win, and with Daniel Jones likely lost for the season with an Achilles tear (or so it looked), it looks like they’ve got a great shot at a playoff berth. Lawrence will be a very interesting QB1 streamer next week against the Jets’ sad sack defense.
  • MIN Running Back #33
Aaron Jones rushed 14 times for 76 yards in the Vikings’ Week 14 win over the Commanders.
Jones averaged a solid 5.4 YPC in this one, as the Vikings faced little resistance on the ground en route to a 31-0 shutout victory. Jones was instrumental in two of the Vikings’ four touchdown drives on the day, with his best drive coming in the fourth quarter. On that drive, Jones took three carries for 30 yards to help position the offense for an eventual two-yard touchdown pass to T.J. Hockenson to put the game well out of reach. Jones’ 76 rushing yards marked his second-highest total of season. He’s surpassed 50 yards on the ground just three times in nine games and has found the end zone just twice this season. Jones will be hard to trust as anything more than a RB3 play in Week 15 against the Cowboys.
  • WAS Quarterback #5
Jayden Daniels completed 9-of-20 passes for 78 yards and one interception in the Commanders’ 31-0, Week 14 loss to the Vikings.
Daniels’ return from a dislocated elbow went about as bad as one could imagine. Daniels completed 5-of-9 passes on the Commanders’ opening drive, but saw things stall out on the Vikings’ two-yard line thanks to a dropped pass in the end zone by Deebo Samuel. Outside of that strong first drive, Daniels looked mostly out of sync with his pass-catchers. Disaster struck on the opening drive of the third quarter when Daniels saw a fourth-down pass batted in the air by Andrew Van Ginkel, who then caught the ball for his first interception of the season. Daniels took a hard block from cornerback Isaiah Rodgers on the play, landing on the same arm he injured in Week 9 against the Seahawks and was reportedly dealing with an elbow/shoulder injury. Now sitting on 3-10 and with their season effectively over, the Commanders have little reason to rush Daniels back for this season. If he’s unable to go in Week 15 against the Giants, Marcus Mariota would draw yet another start.
  • SEA Quarterback #14
Sam Darnold completed 20-of-30 passes for 249 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the Seahawks’ 37-9, Week 14 win over the Falcons.
Darnold got off to a disastrous start in the first quarter. His first drive ended after three plays via a sack. His third drive ended in just as many plays with an interception. Throwing on the run, Darnold targeted a thoroughly covered Elijah Arroyo. The pass was easily deflected and fell into the hands of Mike Hughes. Tied 6-6 coming out of halftime, things were looking astonishingly bleak. Rashid Shaheed then gave the team a shot in the arm with a kick-return touchdown and the Seahawks were off to the races. Darnold would go on to score three touchdowns and a field goal on his next four drives. Atlanta did not stop Darnold from scoring once during the second half. Seattle’s final drive ended with a punt, but Drew Lock had taken over by that time. After a rocky start, Darnold exorcised some demons against the Atlanta secondary in the second half. He will remain on the QB1/2 border for his date with the Colts next week.
  • MIN Quarterback #9
J.J. McCarthy completed 16-of-23 passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns in the Vikings’ 31-0, Week 14 win over the Commanders.
We probably should have seen this coming against a dreadful Commanders defense. McCarthy was in sync with his offense early in this one, leading touchdown drives of 61 and 98 yards on the Vikings’ first two possessions. McCarthy connected with Josh Oliver on an 18-yard touchdown pass for his first score of the day, and later found Oliver again on a six-yard score in the third quarter to put the Vikings up 24-0. He would cap his best start of the season with a two-yard touchdown pass to T.J. Hockenson in the fourth quarter just for good measure. McCarthy was good in nearly every aspect of this one. He completed 4-of-6 passes on third down, and utilized his feet to evade pressure on several occasions. This was easily the best we’ve seen McCarthy play this season. We’ll see if he can string together back-to-back good outings in Week 15 against the Cowboys. Fantasy managers shouldn’t view him as anything more than a low-end QB2 until we see some good, consistent play.
  • BAL Running Back #34
Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell (knee) was ruled out in Week 14 against the Steelers.
Mitchell hobbled to the locker room near the end of the third quarter after totaling 76 yards on six rushes, including an explosive 55-yard run in the third quarter. Mitchell, who has a long history of serious knee injuries, has emerged as a solid complement to Derrick Henry in recent weeks. If he misses time, Rasheen Ali would presumably function as the team’s No. 2 running back and could be rostered in deeper formats.
  • BUF Safety #24
Cole Bishop left Week 14’s game against the Bengals with a lower-body injury.
Bishop appeared to suffer a lower-body injury at the end of Week 13’s win over the Steelers, but didn’t miss any practice time this week. Then, in the second half of Week 14, he was seen repeatedly running in place on the sideline and trying to get loose. Unfortunately for him and the Bills, he was then taken into the locker room. Cam Lewis has come in to replace him, and newly-signed Darnell Savage could potentially step in next week if Bishop has to miss any time.
