Colts agreed to terms with QB Daniel Jones, formerly of the Vikings, on a one-year, $14 million contract.
Jones get $13.5 million fully guaranteed in the deal. The Vikings reportedly made a run at keeping Jones for 2025 but the allure of a starting job in Indy lured Jones to the Colts. He’ll compete with Antony Richardson for Week 1 starting duties as Richardson undergoes biometrics training this offseason designed to clean up his terribly inaccurate passing and mechanically unsound throwing motion. Richardson since the start of 2023 ranks 42nd out of 42 qualifying QBs in completion rate over expected. Only four quarterbacks have a lower drop back success rate than Richardson over that two-season stretch. The Athletic’s James Boyd said in February Jones’ “abilities on the ground mean the offense won’t have to change much should Richardson miss more time due to injury” if A-Rich starts the year under center. The Colts are likely to flail between QB options in 2025, just as they did in 2024 with Richardson and Joe Flacco.

Jets QB Jordan Travis retired from the NFL after one season.
Travis suffered a catastrophic ankle injury late in his final season at Florida State in 2023. The Jets took a shot on him in the fifth round of the draft, but Travis suffered a setback in his recovery and did not play as a rookie. In his statement via the team, Travis said his leg never responded the way he had hoped and the medical staff advised him to return. It’s a sad ending for a player who had a future in the NFL before his tragic injury.
Which quarterback boosts Saints' fantasy appeal?
With the Saints set for a quarterback competition this summer, Lawrence Jackson Jr. evaluates how fantasy managers should approach New Orleans in drafts, where pass catchers are top of mind.
  • GB Defensive Tackle #95
Packers have exercised DT Devonte Wyatt’s fifth-year team option for 2026.
The 27-year-old, who was the 28th overall pick in 2022, has played in 47 games in three seasons with the Packers, recording 12.5 sacks, including five in 2024. Wyatt, who will make $13.9 million in 2026 (per OverTheCap), was the Packers’ highest-graded defensive lineman last season, per PFF.
  • BAL Center #64
Ravens will not exercise the fifth-year option on C Tyler Linderbaum.
The two-time Pro Bowler would have made $23.4 million if his option was picked up. “It is our intention for (Linderbaum) to remain a Baltimore Raven long term,” said team EVP and general manger Eric DeCosta on Wednesday. “I’ll let my agent handle that,” Linderbaum said about his contract on April 21. “I’m just focusing on becoming as good of a football player as I can be for this team. [I’m] coming in here every day and putting my best foot forward. Let all the other things take care of itself.” Linderbaum, who was the 25th overall pick in 2022, has started in all 49 games played with the Ravens since his arrival.
  • BAL Safety #14
Ravens exercised the fifth-year option for S Kyle Hamilton.
Hamilton is now locked up through the 2026 season, with the Ravens likely to hash out a longer-term extension with the outstanding safety in the coming months. Pro Football Focus graded Hamilton as the league’s fourth-best cover safety in 2024. He’s served as a critical part of one of the NFL’s best coverage units over his three pro seasons. He has five interceptions and 28 passes defended over those three seasons.
  • MIN Wide Receiver
Vikings agreed to terms with WR Myles Price.
The 23-year old Price played four seasons at Texas Tech before transferring to Indiana in 2024. He caught 38 passes for 466 yards with three touchdowns in his final collegiate season. His 289 punt return yards ranked fifth most in FBS in 2024, while he forced a Power 4-best 24 missed tackles on punt returns per Pro Football Focus. He went undrafted last week but will compete for a roster spot in Minnesota.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #5
Falcons exercised the fifth-year option for WR Drake London.
London, who will turn 24 in July, is locked up for the 2026 season. London has been superb through his first three NFL seasons: Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase were the only other two wideouts to average more than 12 yards per catch on 100 receptions in 2024. London was third in receiving yards and seventh in receptions last season, quickly becoming a target hog with Michael Penix under center for Atlanta. London should be viewed as a top-five fantasy receiver going into 2025.
  • JAX Linebacker #33
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Jaguars will not exercise the fifth-year option on LB Devin Lloyd.
The option would have guaranteed Lloyd $14.751 million for the 2026 season. Lloyd, who was the 27th overall pick in 2022, has started 46 of 48 games with the Jaguars since his arrival. In 2024, Lloyd had 113 tackles, two sacks, an interception and a forced fumble. According to PFF, Lloyd has been the Jaguars’ highest-graded linebacker over the past two seasons. Lloyd will become a free agent next offseason.
  • PIT Running Back
The Athletic’s Mike DeFabo listed Steelers rookie RB Kaleb Johnson alongside Jaylen Warren as co-starters.
Johnson, described by DeFabo as a “physical back built to carry the load,” was taken with the 83rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He’s widely expected to replace Najee Harris — now with the Chargers — in the Pittsburgh backfield in 2025. Johnson dominated the Iowa backfield in 2024, totaling 240 carries for 1,537 yards and 21 touchdowns. He made progress as a pass catcher, reeling in 22 balls for 188 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the run-heavy Iowa offense. Only three running backs in the nation logged more rushes of over ten yards than Johnson in 2024. His presence, along with Kenneth Gainwell, leaves little upside for Warren barring backfield injuries for the Steelers.
  • ATL Wide Receiver
Sports Illustrated’s Terrance Biggs believes Falcons WR Nick Nash could “work his way” into the team’s wideout rotation.
Biggs said the 25-year-old undrafted free agent out of San Jose State, who led all college receivers in catches, yards, and touchdowns in 2024, could make an impact in offseason workouts and training camp and find his way into a role in the Atlanta offense. “With time,” Biggs said, “you can see Nash work his way into the rotation, earning his keep on special teams and four/five receiver sets.” Nash’s lack of explosiveness and long speed will be tough to overcome, but precise route running and sure hands for the QB-turned-wideout could earn Nash a roster spot this summer. For now, Drake London, Ray-Ray McCloud, and Darnell Mooney sit atop the Atlanta receiver depth chart.
  • PHI Defensive Lineman #90
Eagles exercised the fifth-year option for DT Jordan Davis.
After Eagles general manager Howie Roseman declined to say whether the team would pick up Davis’ option just two weeks prior, the team made the call after Davis played his second straight 17-game season for the dominant Philly front seven. Davis, who has 3.5 sacks and five tackles for loss over his past two seasons, was graded by Pro Football Focus as 2024’s 40th-best defensive tackle. He will make $12.9 million in the 2026 season.
