Chez Reavie’s first PGA TOUR win on Sunday at the Canadian Open jumped him into the top 200 in this week’s Official World Golf Rankings.
Reavie, a three-shot winner over Billy Mayfair, flew up 178 places this week to No. 184.
Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, British Open champion Padraig Harrington, Adam Scott and Ernie Els stayed put in the top five.
Players Champion Sergio Garcia moved up one to sixth, followed by Stewart Cink, who climbed a spot this week. Geoff Ogilvy fell two to accommodate the moves by Garcia and Cink.
Steve Stricker remained ninth, while Henrik Stenson and Jim Furyk switched places from last week with the Swede moving to 10th and the American sinking to No. 11.
K.J. Choi and Anthony Kim each leapt one from last week with Choi to 12th and Kim to 13. Justin Rose sank two places to No. 14 with Vijay Singh rounding out the top 15.
Kenny Perry, Masters winner Trevor Immelman, Lee Westwood, Rory Sabbatini and Miguel Angel Jimenez completed the top 20 for the second consecutive week.
