Dodgers reassigned OFs Cameron Perkins and DJ Peters and INF Jake Peter to minor league camp.
Perkins, 28, hit .280 (7-for-25) with a run scored during his time in Cactus League action. He’ll function as outfield depth for the Dodgers at Triple-A. Peters clubbed a couple of Cactus League homers, but hit just .182 overall (4-for-22). Peter was the worst of the bunch, hitting just .118 (2-for-17) with two runs scored and no RBI.

Dodgers signed OF Cameron Perkins to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 28-year-old spent the majority of the 2018 campaign at Triple-A Tacoma where he slashed .257/.313/.423 with 10 homers, 48 RBI and eight stolen bases in 94 games. He’ll compete in spring training to try to win a spot on the Opening Day roster as a reserve outfielder, but faces an uphill battle.

Cameron Perkins went 2-for-2 with a homer off the bench Friday against the Yankees.
Perkins, 26, went unpicked in December’s Rule 5 draft after hitting .292/.329/.419 with eight homers and 11 steals in 408 at-bats for Triple-A Lehigh Valley last season. He’s more of a solid Triple-A player than a legitimate prospect, but he has the contact ability to perhaps be of use as a pinch-hitter. The Phillies won’t carry him out of spring training, though, and it’s hard to see how he has a future in the organization, given the likelihood of a Nick Williams-Roman Quinn-Dylan Cozens outfield in Triple-A this year.

Phillies purchased the contract of INF/OF Cameron Perkins from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Perkins, 26, has batted .298/.388/.476 with six homers for Lehigh Valley this season. He can play the corner infield and outfield spots and should get some starts in left field against southpaws. Perkins will be making his major league debut.

Cameron Perkins was hitless in four at-bats with a strikeout in Saturday’s loss in Arizona.
Perkins was in the leadoff spot on Saturday, but he didn’t do anything to set the table. The rookie’s average tumbled to .105, as he how has just two singles over 19 at-bats (.105) while driving in two runs. The good news is he isn’t striking out, but he also hasn’t drawn a walk in his time up with the big club.

Phillies optioned OF Cameron Perkins to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Perkins has batted just .171/.239/.241 with zero home runs and 22 strikeouts over his first 36 major league games this season. The 26-year-old outfielder should get another try after MLB rosters expand in September.

Cameron Perkins hit his first major league home run in Thursday’s win over the Marlins.
It wasn’t the most dramatic first-ever homer -- Perkins hit it in the eighth inning of a 9-0 game -- but it’s surely one of the most memorable the 26-year-old will ever hit. Hits have been hard to come by for Perkins in his debut season, as he’s now got 15 in 86 at-bats to date. He’ll remain bench depth for the Phillies as they play out the end of the regular season.

Phillies optioned OF Cameron Perkins to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Perkins batted just .207/.277/.276 across 65 plate appearances during his five-week stay at the major league level. The 26-year-old should get another try when rosters expand in September.

Phillies recalled OF Cameron Perkins from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
He’ll take over the roster spot vacated by Aaron Altherr, who has been placed back on the 10-day disabled list with a hamstring strain. Perkins batted just .207/.277/.276 in 65 plate appearances with Philadelphia earlier this season and holds no fantasy relevance.

Phillies optioned OF Cameron Perkins to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
This move clears the way for the arrival of prospect Rhys Hoskins. Perkins, 26, has batted just .194/.271/.258 in 30 games this season at the major league level.
