Hayden Penn allowed one run and three hits in eight innings Friday for Triple-A Ottawa.
Penn shouldn’t have to wait much longer for a rotation spot in Baltimore, but since he pitched yesterday, he won’t be a candidate to start for the Orioles on Tuesday. The nod could go to Daniel Cabrera, who would pitching on four days’ rest after starting for Ottawa on Thursday.
