In a column for Cleveland’s The Plain Dealer, Terry Pluto tells a funny story that involves Indians manager Terry Francona and his dad Tito.
In 1958, Tito wanted a raise. He spoke to then-GM of the Tigers John McHale, saying he wanted a raise because his wife was pregnant -- with Terry. McHale responded, “That’s not my problem.”
