Brewers, Dodgers announce lineups for NLCS Game 4

League Championship Series - Milwaukee Brewers v Los Angeles Dodgers - Game Three

LOS ANGELES, CA - OCTOBER 15: Orlando Arcia #3 of the Milwaukee Brewers celebrates with manager manager Craig Counsell #30 at the dugout after Arcia hit a two-run home run over the right field wall during the seventh inning of Game Three of the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on October 15, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Here are the lineups for Game 4 of the NLCS between the Brewers and Dodgers, slated for a 9:09 PM ET start at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night.

Brewers

CF Lorenzo Cain
RF Christian Yelich
LF Ryan Braun
1B Jesús Aguilar
3B Mike Moustakas
2B Jonathan Schoop
C Manny Piña
SS Orlando Arcia
P Gio González

Piña is back behind the dish after Erik Kratz started Games 2 and 3. Schoop, facing a lefty, will get his first start of the postseason after being inserted in the middle of the first two contests of the NLDS against the Rockies. All eyes will understandably be on MVP candidate Yelich, but Arcia has quietly been an offensive threat. He has hit safely in five of six playoff games thus far and has homered in three of them, including the last two games against the Dodgers.

Dodgers

LF Chris Taylor
3B Justin Turner
1B David Freese
SS Manny Machado
2B Brian Dozier
CF Enrique Hernández
RF Yasiel Puig
C Austin Barnes
P Rich Hill

The Dodgers put together their righty-heavy lineup against the lefty starter. Taylor, Freese, Dozier, Puig, and Barnes all move into the lineup. Barnes’ inclusion, however, has a lot to do with the poor performance of Yasmani Grandal in Game 3. Grandal allowed his third passed ball of the NLCS on Monday as well as a wild pitch. Additionally, Grandal hasn’t been bringing much with the bat. Manager Dave Roberts is hoping Barnes will help shake things up.
