The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have agreed to a new three-year contracts with manager Mike Shildt and president of baseball operations John Mozeliak. General manager Michael Girsch and the club agreed to a two-year pact.
Shildt holds a 132-99 record since taking over for Mike Matheny in the middle of the 2018 season. This year he led the Cards to the NL Central crown and is a finalist for NL Manager of the Year.
Moseliak has been with the Cardinals for nearly 25 years, the last 12 of which he has been its chief baseball operations guy, with his title changing from GM to president. The Cards won the 2011 World Series and the 2013 NL pennant with him at the helm.
