Chris Sale strikes out 11 in rehab start

White Sox left-hander Chris Sale looked good enough in his first minor-league rehab start that it’s possible there won’t be a second rehab start, striking out 11 batters in four shutout innings at Triple-A last night.

In terms of dominance that signals he’s probably ready to rejoin the White Sox after missing time with a strained flexor muscle, but because Sale threw only 68 pitches he may need one more start to build back arm strength before coming off the disabled list.
