Jonathan Kuminga (knee) and Gabe Vincent (knee) are out for Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Kuminga and Vincent join the long list of Hawks who won’t be available for Sunday’s regular-season finale. Given the absences, this should be a spot where Buddy Hield figures prominently in the rotation, possibly as a starter.
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker (toe) and Dyson Daniels (toe) are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Alexander-Walker and Daniels potentially sitting out Sunday’s game would free up rotation minutes for multiple players, including Gabe Vincent and Keaton Wallace. Neither is a particularly safe streaming option for managers in active fantasy leagues.
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Alexander-Walker has a sprained left foot, but the good news is that the door is open for him to play against the Wizards. If he can’t go, there will be more opportunities available to Gabe Vincent and Keaton Wallace, while Buddy Hield could move into the back end of the rotation.
  • ATL Guard #5
Dyson Daniels (ankle) is out for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.
The Hawks will be without two starters for Monday’s game, with Daniels and All-Star Jalen Johnson sitting due to injury. In the case of the former, his absences free up additional minutes for Corey Kispert and CJ McCollum. The former has started five games since being traded to the Hawks, while the latter has only started one. This may also be a spot where Buddy Hield or Gabe Vincent makes their Hawks debut after both received DNP-CDs in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets.
  • ATL Guard #7
Gabe Vincent has been traded to the Hawks.
Vincent has been a reserve for the Lakers for the last few seasons, but he’ll now be a depth piece in Atlanta. He should be a reserve point guard option, which likely pushes Keaton Wallace further down the depth chart. However, with Dyson Daniels, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and CJ McCollum all healthy, there isn’t going to be many minutes for Vincent.
  • LAL Guard #4
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Lakers have acquired Luke Kennard in exchange for Gabe Vincent and a 2032 second-round pick.
The Lakers haven’t been a successful three-point shooting team this season, but the addition of Kennard off the bench should help with that. With Austin Reaves back healthy, the Lakers don’t have as much of a need for Vincent as a reserve, but Kennard should have a place in the rotation. Fantasy managers shouldn’t pay this any mind, though this will be a helpful addition for the Lakers.

Luka Dončić (ankle) is questionable to play against the Wizards on Friday.
The Cavs’ lifted court resulted in an injury scare for Dončić and the Lakers; he twisted his ankle on the uneven surface while hopping backwards after shooting a three-pointer. He was able to return to finish the game, but there is a chance he sits out against Washington. In that scenario, Gabe Vincent will likely slide back into the starting unit in his place.

Luka Dončić (groin) is available for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Dončić is good to go after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Trail Blazers. His return pushes Gabe Vincent to the bench and will take some of the weight off of LeBron James’ shoulders.

Luka Dončić (groin) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Dončić did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Trail Blazers, which prompted Gabe Vincent to move into the starting lineup. Vincent scored three points on 1-of-6 shooting against Portland, and there’s no need to consider streaming him if Dončić remains out.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports that Luka Dončić (groin) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Hawks.
According to McMenamin, Dončić had his inner thigh/groin area treated in the second half of Monday’s loss to the Kings, and his status for the second leg of the Lakers’ back-to-back set is uncertain. The Lakers have not yet submitted an injury report for Tuesday’s tilt with the Hawks, but LeBron James has not played both legs of a back-to-back this season, so his status is also in question. Los Angeles could be sorely undermanned, which would lead to the team picking up the slack in a committee approach, with guys like Dalton Knecht, Nick Smith Jr. and Gabe Vincent seeing increased run. The team will need to lean heavily on its available starters, which could mean monster usage for Rui Hachimura, Marcus Smart and Jake LaRavia.
