Nikola Vucevic (mild ankle sprain) has been ruled out of Friday’s game vs. the Celtics.
Vucevic suffered a “mild” ankle sprain in Monday’s win vs. Detroit. He did play in Wednesday’s win vs. the Hawks but has since had swelling in the ankle. Obviously, there is no reason to rush Vooch back into action, with the start of the regular season less than two weeks away. We’ll keep an eye out for an update on his status. Mo Bamba will draw the start at center on Friday.
