The Magic waived G Josh Magette on Tuesday.
Orlando waived Magette to make room on the roster for Gark Clark. Magette will head down to the G League.

D.J. Augustin (left knee soreness) is available to play Monday vs. the Kings.
Augustin being available moves Josh Magette out of the rotation. The veteran backup is worth consideration in deeper leagues, but only if there’s a need for three-pointers and/or assists.

D.J. Augustin (left knee) is questionable for Monday’s game vs. Sacramento.
DJA is dealing with a bruise in his knee, an injury that prevented him from playing on Friday. He did do limited work during Sunday’s practice, so hopefully he’ll respond well and get through shootarond without incident. Check for updates on Monday afternoon.

Josh Magette has had his contract converted from a two-way to a 10-day by the Magic.
Magette has appeared in eight games and made minimal impact. He could see a few minutes if D.J. Augustin (knee) has to miss time, but not enough to be added in any fantasy leagues.

D.J. Augustin (left knee contusion) has been ruled out of Friday’s game vs. the Suns.
DJA has played well of late, but apparently tweaked his knee in Wednesday’s win over Washington. Starting PG Markelle Fultz will likely log a few extra minutes on Friday, while Josh Magette could re-enter the rotation.

The Magic have reportedly agreed to a deal with guard Josh Magette.
Magette recently played for the Spurs’ Summer League squad, averaging 6.8 points on 36% shooting, 2.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.0 steals. He’s likely just a training camp body for the Magic.

The Hawks added FA point guard Josh Magette to their training camp roster on Sunday.
Dennis Schroder recently suffered an ankle injury, and Jarrett Jack is limited as he returns from knee surgery, so Atlanta needed to add a healthy body at the PG position. Magette has spent the past four years playing overseas and in the D-League, and it’s very unlikely that he’ll make the roster.

The Hawks have waived G Josh Magette.
The Hawks’ roster is now down to 15 players, but they surprisingly only have two point guards in Dennis Schroder and Malcolm Delaney. Magette will either head overseas or return to the D-League with the Los Angeles D-Fenders.

The Hawks “have agreed to terms with Josh Magette on a contract for the 2017-18 season,” sources told Basketball Insider’s Alex Kennedy.
It’s a two-way deal, per Chris Reichert of Two Ways, 10 Days. Magette was with the team in training camp last season, but he was waived just before the regular season began. Now that Atlanta is rebuilding, Magette could claim third-string point guard duties behind Dennis Schroder and Malcolm Delaney.

Josh Magette scored three points with one rebound, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes against the Wolves on Wednesday.
The Hawks rested Dennis Schroder and it wasn’t even in a back-to-back set, so maybe they do it again. There were even some two-PG lineups out there, which explains the playing time. Magette is only going to have value if Schroder is out again because Isaiah Taylor has been solid.
