Jrue Holiday totaled 12 points (5-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, three steals and one three-pointer in Thursday’s win over the Hawks.
Holiday logged 21 minutes in his third game back from a calf injury. The veteran guard posted a balanced stat line in his limited minutes, contributing as a scorer, rebounder, and passer. And as expected, Holiday made several plays defensively to impact the game. His numbers should improve as his minutes increase, but for now, fantasy managers must be patient in his return from injury.

Jrue Holiday, Shaedon Sharpe, Sidy Cissoko, Toumani Camara and Donovan Clingan will start Thursday’s game against the Hawks.
After coming off the bench in his first two games back from a strained calf, Holiday is back in the starting lineup on Thursday. His promotion comes at the expense of Caleb Love, who should still play solid rotation minutes off the bench.

Jrue Holiday started the second half on Tuesday and contributed 12 points (4-of-12 FGs), eight rebounds, three assists and two three-pointers in a 119-97 loss to the Warriors.
Holiday came off the bench for a second straight game after making his return from nearly a two-month absence on Sunday. However, he started the second half in place of Caleb Love, who joined the starting lineup with Deni Avdija out. Holiday will eventually return to the starting lineup, and his jump in minutes from 16 on Sunday to 21 in this game indicate that is closer to happening. Holiday could be back starting against the Hawks on Thursday, which will result in a value boost for him.

Jrue Holiday (calf) accounted for eight points (2-of-7 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Knicks.
After missing nearly two months with a strained calf, Holiday was back in the Trail Blazers’ rotation on Sunday. He played 16 minutes off the bench, with the minutes limit preserving some of Sidy Cissoko’s playing time. Cissoko remained in the starting lineup and finished with five points, two rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer in 28 minutes. As Holiday continues to ramp up his activity, there will likely come a point where he and Cissoko switch roles.

Jrue Holiday (calf) is available for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.
Holiday is available to appear in a game for the first time since November 14. While the veteran guard’s minutes will be limited, he could start. If Holiday starts, Sidy Cissoko may be the odd man out. Either way, Cissoko’s playing time will likely decrease.

Jrue Holiday (calf) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Holiday was upgraded to probable Sunday afternoon. The 35-year-old point guard is now likely to appear in a game for the first time since November 14. Holiday is likely to be on a minutes restriction due to all the time he’s missed this season.

Jrue Holiday (calf) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Holiday has not appeared in a game since November 14. However, unlike Friday when he was initially doubtful before being ruled out, he’s questionable for Sunday. Given the time missed, Holiday will likely be under a minutes restriction whenever he’s cleared to return.

Jrue Holiday (calf) is out for Friday’s game against the Rockets.
Initially doubtful for Friday’s game, Holiday is now officially out. As has been the case since the veteran guard’s injury, Deni Avdija will continue to serve as Portland’s primary playmaker.

Jrue Holiday (calf) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Rockets.
Sidelined since November 14, Holiday was cleared to resume on-court activities on New Year’s Day. He’s making progress, but the doubtful tag suggests that Holiday won’t be available on Friday. Deni Avdija will run the show as long as the Trail Blazers are shorthanded on the perimeter, and he’s played at an All-Star level this season.

Jrue Holiday (calf) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
While Holiday was cleared to resume on-court activities on New Year’s Day, he still is not ready to return to game action. Deni Avdija has filled in as Portland’s primary playmaker and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. And that may be his role after Holiday returns; Deni has been that productive for the Trail Blazers.
