Janning

Janning will join the Nuggets on non-guaranteed camp deal and is unlikely to make the team’s final roster. The 27-year-old can safely go undrafted in all fantasy leagues.

He was undrafted and didn’t play in a game for the Suns last season. It’s doubtful he’ll make the Wolves final roster at this point, and there’s almost no chance that he would offer any fantasy value this season if he makes it.

That puts them at 16 players, meaning the final roster spot should come down to either undrafted rookie Matt Janning or rookie Zabian Dowdell.

Janning loses his job so that the Suns can sign Earl Barron. The undrafted rookie did not appear in a game this season.

Janning played well enough in summer league to earn the invite, but he’s a longshot to make the Celtics’ regular-season roster. He averaged 12.6 points in five SL games for the Suns, and 15.4 points per game in college. Just be careful on draft night and don’t mistakenly select Janning thinking he’s Brandon Jennings.

It appeared that Janning would be getting a look from the Celtics after getting a training camp invite from Boston, but Phoenix made him an offer he obviously couldn’t refuse. Janning averaged 12.6 points in five Summer League games for the Suns, but isn’t likely to get significant run during the regular season.
