Shortly after the draft, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported undrafted Christian Wood would sign with the Rockets.
Not happening, according to Wood’s agent.

I rated Wood a first-round pick, so I obviously think this is a good deal.
Wood showed pretty impressive tools at UNLV, including his 6-foot-11 frame. He just needs to put them to better use and cut down on his mental errors, especially his subpar shot selection. He’s just 19, though, so I’d take the chance on him.
If Wood pans out, the 76ers will have him locked up cheaply for multiple years. If he doesn’t, they can cut him at a pretty low cost.
It’s a smart bet.
