Just two games into his return from offseason wrist surgery, Iman Shumpert is hurt again. During the Cavs’ 89-77 Tuesday night win over the Celtics, Shumpert suffered a groin injury and left the game. No word on how long he’ll be out, but head coach David Blatt said he’s worried.

David Blatt says he doesn't know the extent of Iman Shumpert's groin injury, but said he's concerned considering all team has been through.

Iman Shumpert is fine, I'm told. #Cavs don't expect him to play on Thursday against OKC.

The Cavs have won both of the games Shumpert has played in, and at 16-7 they’re in first place in the Eastern Conference. But Shumpert is their best perimeter defender, and they need him healthy for the playoffs. If missing a few more games is what it takes for that to happen, it’s worth it. Hopefully this is nothing serious.
