The Lakers’ preseason game was tied with 102-102 with 4.8 seconds left, Jabari Brown inbounded to Kelly then cut past him for what looked like it would be a handoff, and both defenders with to Brown. Kelly was expecting that.
Kelly said Portland had been switching on him all game, so he knew he'd have an open lane. Nice play call from Byron Scott.
