Early Wednesday morning, New York Knicks forward Cleanthony Early was shot in the leg during a robbery outside a strip club in Queens. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition, and now the hospital says he’s been released.

Via the Wall Street Journal:

Mr. Early was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, police said. A spokeswoman for the hospital said he was released Wednesday morning.

Obviously, details are still coming out about the incident. But it’s a positive sign that Early is already out of the hospital and that he wasn’t more seriously hurt.
