Watch Carmelo Anthony sink OT game winner, lift Knicks over Hornets

Sometimes, waving off everyone and going at it in isolation works.

With time running down in overtime between the Knicks and Hornets, Carmelo Anthony — long accused of playing too much isolation ball — did just that, setting up a one-on-one battle that led to a 17-foot fade away. Few are more dangerous when isolated than Anthony, and he drained what would be the game-winner.

With the 113-111 win — behind 35 points from Anthony — the Knicks now have a winning record at 8-7. Give Derrick Rose a little love for the win, too, he blocked a potential game winner by Kemba Walker.
