Patricio Garino has signed a partially guaranteed deal with the Spurs.
It’s a training camp deal for the senior out of George Washington. In his senior season for the Colonials, Garino averaged 14.1 points, 4.2 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.5 3-pointers. Garino will be playing for Argentina during the Olympics.

    Spurs waive G Patricio Garino.
He hasn’t decided if he will join the D-League yet, but he could make more money overseas.

The Magic signed Patricio Garino on Monday.
Garino was with the Spurs during training camp, but obviously didn’t make the final 15-man roster. The Magic will sign him for the remainder of the season with a non-guaranteed salary for 2017-18, so they will be able to take a long look at him over the offseason. Fantasy owners can ignore him for now.

Frank Vogel said he’ll start with his regular lineup for Wednesday’s regular-season finale against the Pistons, and then, “play it by ear after that.”
It sounds like Vogel would like to get an extended look at some of the younger guys on the roster tonight, so Mario Hezonja could see his minutes in the 30s again, and new additions Marcus Georges-Hunt and Patricio Garino could see some extended minutes in the rotation. If these guys do indeed earn significant minutes in the rotation tonight, Terrence Ross might only see his minutes in the 20s.

Frank Vogel indicated that he’ll give meaningful minutes to Patricio Garino, Marcus Georges-Hunt and Stephen Zimmerman for Wednesday’s regular-season finale vs. Detroit.
Vogel hinted after shootaround that he would not stick with his usual rotation on Wednesday night in order to get a better look at some of the younger guys on the roster, so meaningful minutes for the aforementioned players will likely come at the expense of Evan Fournier, Terrence Ross and Nikola Vucevic.

Patricio Garino and Marcus Georges-Hunt are unlikely to play Tuesday night.
No fantasy impact here, as Orlando’s newest signees are not expected to crack the rotation even when available.

Jodie Meeks started vs. Brooklyn on Thursday and had 20 points, two rebounds and four 3-pointers, including an 18-point explosion in the third quarter.
Evan Fournier was out with a sore right wrist and the severity of the injury is unknown -- the Magic have nothing to play for at this point, so more DNPs are possible. Meeks’ third quarter was the highest-scoring quarter for any Magic player this season, and it’s hard to trust him with Orlando shifting toward player evaluation -- guys like Marcus Georges-Hunt, Patricio Garino and Mario Hezonja could all usurp Meeks’ minutes, even if Fournier misses more time.

The Magic have waived G Patricio Garino.
Garino was a late-season addition to Orlando’s roster last year, but he only managed to get on the court for a total of five games, and didn’t do much while he was out there. Maybe he’ll be able to snag a training camp deal with another club, but he won’t be a factor in fantasy hoops in any scenario.
