The Kings have waived forward Tyler Lydon.
He was on the roster bubble and the Kings decided to go another direction, promoting Wenyen Gabriel to the 15-man roster and signing DaQuan Jeffries to a two-way deal. This move has no fantasy impact and Lydon isn’t likely to draw much interest elsewhere.
  • Point Guard #10
Cory Joseph (calf), Hollis Thompson (hip), Tyler Ulis (groin) and Tyler Lydon (hip) will all sit out Wednesday’s preseason finale against Melbourne United.
Joseph said he’ll be fine for the regular-season opener, but neither he nor Lydon is expected to make an impact in fantasy hoops this season. Thompson and Ulis are unlikely to make the team.
  • SAC Power Forward #41
Tyler Lydon (right hip inflammation), Hollis Thompson (right hip) and Tyler Ulis (groin) have been ruled out for Monday’s exhibition game against the Jazz.
The Kings will also be without Trevor Ariza (lipoma), Harry Giles (knee) and Cory Joseph (calf), so the B-squad in Sacramento could receive a good amount of minutes tonight.

Tyler Lydon has agreed to a two-year deal with the Kings, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Lydon was picked 24th overall in the 2017 draft by the Nuggets, but didn’t make an impact in his two years in Denver. He’s not on the fantasy radar.
  • SAC Power Forward #41
Tyler Lydon has been assigned to the G-League on Sunday by the Nuggets.
Lydon is out of the rotation in Denver and will get some much needed playing time in the G-League.
  • SAC Power Forward #41
Tyler Lydon (concussion) is questionable to play on Wednesday against the Kings.
He’s rarely a part of the rotation, so his playing status is irrelevant in fantasy hoops.
  • SAC Power Forward #41
Tyler Lydon is in the concussion protocol after taking a hit at practice.
He rarely plays outside of garbage time, but maybe we’ll get to see Jarred Vanderbilt tonight with Paul Millsap (ankle) questionable. There are no real fantasy implications here.
  • SAC Power Forward #41
The Nuggets have declined their third-year option for Tyler Lydon.
The former No. 24 pick is headed for unrestricted free agency and it would require an ideal situation for him to intrigue fantasy owners.

The Denver Nuggets have selected F Tyler Lydon with the 24th selection in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Denver traded the No. 13 overall pick in exchange for Trey Lyles and No. 24. In two years at Syracuse, Lydon built his résumé as a stretch four with a 47.5 field goal percentage, connected at a 39.8 percent clip from deep, and hit 80.9 percent of his free throws. Lydon also checks out with NBA size at 6’10" and 225 pounds, and additionally, the big man boasts an impressive seven-foot wingspan. He doesn’t have a post game yet and he’s not an imposing presence in the paint in most facets, so he’ll need to add some strength before he can get minutes in the league. It’s worth noting that the Nuggets have a looming decision to make on restricted free agent Mason Plumlee.

Tyler Lydon had a workout with the Lakers on Sunday.
Lydon put in averages of 13.2 points, 8.6 boards, 2.1 dimes, 1.4 triples, 1.4 swats and 1.0 steal per game during his sophomore season at Syracuse, and he can be absolutely deadly from beyond the arc on catch-and-shoot opportunities. He’s currently projected to be a late first-round pick on draft day, so he could be an option for the Lakers when they come on the board with their No. 28 overall pick on draft day.
