The Denver Nuggets have selected F Tyler Lydon with the 24th selection in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Denver traded the No. 13 overall pick in exchange for Trey Lyles and No. 24. In two years at Syracuse, Lydon built his résumé as a stretch four with a 47.5 field goal percentage, connected at a 39.8 percent clip from deep, and hit 80.9 percent of his free throws. Lydon also checks out with NBA size at 6’10" and 225 pounds, and additionally, the big man boasts an impressive seven-foot wingspan. He doesn’t have a post game yet and he’s not an imposing presence in the paint in most facets, so he’ll need to add some strength before he can get minutes in the league.
