Coach Jim Haslett announced that Nate Poole tore his ACL, his MCL and his Patellar tendon and isn’t expected to play again this season.

Poole will look for a second opinion this week and will then undergo major surgery and miss the remainder of the year. He finished with just three receptions in seven games.

Poole will challenge second-year WR Devery Henderson for playing time in three receiver sets. He will also be used on special teams. The need for Poole is a direct result of the injury to rookie WR Chase Lyman.
