Are the Texans cursed?

Linebacker Connor Barwin shrugged off the possibility during Friday’s NBC SportsTalk, citing the team’s 8-3 record. After watching receiver Andre Johnson pull up limping and then fall to the ground, Barwin may want to reconsider his response.

Though Johnson’s status isn’t known, it didn’t look good. If it’s serious, it’ll be the third straight week in which the Texans have lost a key player on offense.

Johnson was limited in practice all week with a knee injury. It was his left knee that seemed to give out.

He hasn’t been running at top speed today; even on a long catch he made in the first half, Johnson didn’t seem to be able to find his top gear.
