Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie thinks he’s a better playmaker than Nnamdi Asomugha. I think Cromartie is right -- at least on the days when he gets to play against Luke McCown.

Cromartie was named the AFC defensive player of the week today for his two-interception performance on Sunday against the McCown-led Jacksonville Jaguars.

It was a big game for Cromartie, who showed that he can make opposing quarterbacks pay for it when they go after him to avoid Darrelle Revis. Then again, most quarterbacks are going to do a better job of going after Cromartie than McCown did.
