At a time when star wide receiver Brandon Marshall has requested a trade, the Denver Broncos have signed journeyman wideout Brandon Lloyd, according to Mike Chambers of the Denver Post. The signing reunites Lloyd with Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton, whom he played with last season in Chicago. Lloyd, 27, caught 26 passes for 364 yards and two touchdowns last season. He started five games last season for the Bears. Lloyd has previous stints with the Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers, catching 156 career passes for 15 touchdowns.
