Long-time NFL assistant coach Brian Schottenheimer is back in the NFL.
Schottenheimer, who landed on his feet with the Rams after getting nudged out of the Jets organization, landed on his feet in Georgia after getting nudge out of St. Louis. After a year with the Bulldogs as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach on former coach Mark Richt’s staff, Schottenheimer is back in the pro game.
Schottenheimer spent three years with the Rams and six with the Jets. He replaces Clyde Christensen, who becomes the offensive coordinator in Miami.
