The injury bug has caught up with yet another Colts defensive back.
The Colts announced Friday that third-round pick Kevin Thomas suffered a knee injury that may cost him the season. It’s unclear what the injury is at this point.
If the Colts had any hope for Thomas to return late in the season, they could place him on the physically unable to perform list. Thomas had a long list of injuries at USC as well.
Indianapolis has a solid top three at cornerback in Kelvin Hayden, Jerraud Powers, and Jacob Lacey, but this injury takes away any margin for error at the position.
