Philadelphia Eagles rookie tight end Cornelius Ingram was understandably worried this week when he injured the same left knee that sidelined him for his entire senior season at the University of Florida. And Ingram, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament last August, was extremely relieved to learn that this latest injury was merely a contusion. Ingram banged into safety Rashad Baker during full-team drills, according to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “I’ll be honest, I was a little scared at that time,” Ingram told the Inquirer. “But once I got up, the pain started to ease away a little bit. . . . I went to the doctor and he checked everything out. Everything looked fine and I’m out here running around.” Ingram is an athletic 6'4,” 245-pounder who caught 34 passes for 508 yards as a junior. The Eagles drafted him in the fifth round with the 153rd overall selection.
