The Texans will try to move into first place in the AFC South on Sunday afternoon and it looks like they will have a key piece of their offense back to help with that effort.
According to multiple reports, running back Dameon Pierce is expected to play against the Jaguars. Pierce has missed the last three games with an ankle injury, but was listed as questionable after practicing with the team all week.
Pierce had 109 carries for 327 yards and a touchdown in the first seven weeks of the season. He also caught nine passes for 84 yards.
Devin Singletary has carried the rushing load for Houston in Pierce’s absence. He has 65 carries for 288 yards and two touchdowns the last three weeks.
